LOUD had a worse tournament than NAVI did yet they are getting a free pass... Makes you wonder
LOUD was Americas’ first seed. NAVI wouldn’t have even qualified to Tokyo if FNATIC didn’t win LOCK//IN. There’s a difference Mr. Yesshitski

EDG and NRG played 4 same teams in Tokyo: Liquid, T1, NaVi and PRX.
There was not a single game out of these 5 where EDG made the game more competitive than NRG did lol. NRG>EDG accept the truth for now
NRG played FNC and EDG played LOUD though. Also I have to disagree, EDG shows a lot of versatility and flexibility in their play even if there's some holes in their game still. NRG adapts somewhat slow, esp with their recent Bind performance. That won't cut it especially if your firepower isn't as high, its quite crazy they even got so far as each of the games you named were 2-1 or 1-2, EDG really shaped up and made it rough for other teams to even take a map, including LOUD.
NRG looked more dominant against NAVI.
NRG won against LIQUID, EDG lost.
NRG vs PRX was closer than PRX vs EDG (both very very close matches anyway).
NRG never lost to T1.
Don't think Loud was trolling but I think there was a strong chance they weren't playing at full potential. On ascent, they did play jett and got absolutely folded. Their neon comps were ran during playoffs. Hard to say how they will do at champs to be totally honest.

no, edg were proven to be good on that map before playoffs, so picking lotus, a map where loud have experience and edg dont is the better choice
LOUD are best known for their harbor viper on haven, it’s one of their best maps by far, to pick away from it just to pick a map you believe your opponent is “weak” on is a throw, especially when it’s one you are inexperienced at as well. Navi clears drx right now unless DRX completely stop playing this 6 man roster that is screwing up their synergy.

Why would there be a big gap between DRX and NAVI?
DRX lost 0-2 against NRG while NAVI lost 1-2 and even in the group stages DRX wasn't that convincing at all... I'd even argue Navi>drx but anyway there isn't that big of a gap imo

you can call this recency bias but i am very hesitant to put LOUD anywhere near the top 5 atm because they completely bombed out during tokyo and it was a disaster class by saadhak and tuyz
T1 over C9? You don't really believe that right?
Also how is EDG>NRG? NRG placed higher and looked better all against NAVI, T1, PRX and Liquid. They literally played 4 same teams and NRG looked better than EDG in all those matches lol. Not a single one where EDG's game was closer
How is there a gap between prx and rest and how is nrg below edg and prx ??? When nrg lost a close fought series 2-1 ( 13-15, 13-6, 11-13)
Firstly there isnt a gap between prx and rest but prx and the bottom 4 teams on that list. Secondly nrg is below prx bc prx beat nrg with a sub and edg over nrg since edg won more convincingly and faced much tougher opponents than nrg. EDG also looked better and got better as the tournament went on. NRG would also barely win their games in group stage and playoffs, that's why nrg is below edg and prx. There could be an argument that nrg is above edg but not prx
They would wipe the floor with NRG if not for PRX which could've gone either way really.
nrg still ranks higher since they beat liquid (who beat edg) and the team has a good history
they placed 5-6th so they get ranked 5-6th. I don't think they are ranked way to high.
should def be after liquid and nrg at least. plus they have only placed 5-6th in one LAN. even LOUD (who is ranked way too high as well) may be higher than them
nrg looked floppy and some games played extremely bad. All their wins were close and could've gone either way apart from when they versed drx in the lower bracket. EDG won against navi in convincing fashion but it was still fairly close but in the game against T1 they improved massively as T1 lost to nrg in the final map 13-11 (a very close match) but edg absolutely destroyed T1 then they versed liquid and lost pretty convincingly but it was still very close but then they beat loud 2-0 and very narrowly lost to paper rex as they had an insane comeback. Basically EDG improved massively as the tournament went on and during the tournament was the only time they could scrim against Tier 1 talent and after a couple days of scrriming against T1 teams you can see they improved drastically. Basically EDG has so much talent and are looking very good and even in their chinese region they are going flawless and are playing at the same level as they did at masters. Whereas NRG are losing to sentinels in scrims and are losing to C9 in scrims which should not be happening for the "4th-5th best team in the world.
