Sen barely make a few thousands of dollars in yearly revenue and was going negative since 2024.

In late 2023 they literally had to beg the fans for crowd funding to maintain operation within the org

Sen is not rich bro they use all of their money on clout

Few thousands in yearly revenue??!?
Bruh revenue is not profit, a company can make millions but still be in the negative. Sen has sponsorship deal, merch and is also partnered team and also the vct bundle and stuff. In terms of revenue they make millions.

Bro google is free man

Sentinels went anywhere from 8 to 3 million dollars in loss every single year they’ve been in esport.

2025 was a huge year for them because the first time since the org’s creation they genuinely broke even or made a slight profit

They are not rich they use all of their money from investors on clout and can barely see profit stop jerking them off

Again revenue not equal to profit, I'm not saying that sentinels is a profitable org, idk about that I'm saying about "thousands of dollars of yearly revenue", revenue is sales, sentinels sold more than thousands of dollars of stuff. That's all I'm saying.

#35

It was around 9.7billion. and I might be wrong but a guy with Chinese flag in past did mention that his father transferred his company to Edward zhu and now he is like at top of richest asian people.

Also you guys are forgetting jdg another one of the richest parent company for eSports orgs. Anyway it's actually really hard to get real data of Chinese people.

#41
Notbaka

Frags

yes jdg blg are rich but they are little less compared to t1

#42
Realfacts
1
Frags

Well t1 is basically under sk telecom. So it's indeed rich but if it's just sk telecom then jdg is richer. But thing is sk telecom is under sk group which is richer than jdg too. As for richest eSports org probably some orgs related to government. Hard to exactly get actual info about Chinese orgs tho.
Anyway eSports org are just some type of advertising thing. All these money is never for the eSports org so no sense in actually comparing these net worth of multinational companies. Maybe some pure eSports related companies provide more funds to the eSports team than these parent companies.

First, you need to try to understand this matter from a "Chinese perspective." Except for some clubs, many teams—such as DRG and Shenzhen—have a simple cooperative relationship. It’s similar to a sponsorship model where a city pays to have its name displayed on the team’s jerseys (I’m not sure if you follow Dota 2, but this is like the "Suzhou New District" logo on Team AR’s jerseys at TI12). Some local governments in China collaborate with esports clubs for purposes like attracting investment or promoting tourism. For example, in the League of Legends scene, there’s WE with the Xi’an government and LNG with the Suzhou government. In such cases, the government typically builds a local esports venue to attract tournaments and boost tourism. Additionally, some older clubs established early influence in China, leading governments to partner with them for economic and tourism development. The most iconic example of this is the collaboration between Chengdu and AG.
So, in short, the Chinese government generally does not intervene too much with clubs; they are more like a capital entity.

Anyway is edg owner really very very rich after his father passed his property to him. There was a thread in vlr in past and some Chinese flag guy said it that now he is worth $50 billion. Is that true? If that's true than I don't understand why edg don't create a good team in league since the owner used to be so enthusiastic in past. Maybe he is not anymore but still

#45
XYLITOL_WU

Perhaps in the past it was true, but not necessarily now, because in recent years Edward has invested in two projects in China that he should not have invested in: electric vehicles and real estate. Although it may not lead him to bankruptcy, it definitely has caused him a lot of suffering, and he is also investing in the construction of a venue in Shanghai.

So which eSports org is really the richest in china rn? Also does Tencent not have some investment in eSports orgs?

#49
XYLITOL_WU

I'm not very focused on investments in this area, but I think the answer might be titan wol ag and estarpro (the one that is a joint venture with nip).
And some teams with e-commerce capital like BLG, JDG, and also WBG.

Tencent has not invested in the team, just like Riot Games has not invested either. However, Tencent is a large company, and the entity responsible for the events is Tencent Sports. In PUBG Mobile, Tencent Video is sponsoring Nova.

This answer is likely titan, because its capital is Sports Weekly. Sports Weekly is one of the larger traditional sports newspapers in China, and behind Sports Weekly are the Changsha Sports Committee and the Changsha City Government.

Korean esports orgs have most solid backing, but most clubs are closer to real companies operated by consortia and boards of directors. They cannot spend money freely. Some clubs in China are owned by a single millionaire, so they can spend as much as they want.

#63

More like single billionaires. But same as Korea many are owned by huge companies too.

By the most prize money, its Fnatic with $1,318,026 then Evil Genisues with $1,280,500 then Edward Gaming, Paper Rex and Sentinels

But the highest grossing team is TSM valued at $540M, then 100T ($460M) and then Team Liquid ($440M)
