might not even be about ambition. he signed a contract with c9 that’s like 5 or 6 years long because a) c9 was the first org to sign him after g2 failed to make ascension in 2023 2) job security for someone as young as oxy is hella important.
and aside from that, his buyout is probably insane because c9 have a history of that (think of tenz when sen bought him off c9), it’s unlikely most orgs would want to pay off his contract because the top teams already have duelist that are as good as if not better than oxy. sen has zekken, nrg has mada, 100t has cryo, g2 has jawgemo, eg has yay. realistically speaking he doesn’t fit into any of those systems either.
tldr; no org is willing to pay that much for oxy if there’s other alternatives on the market (eg. lev picking up sato from m80) it’s not that oxy lacks ambition, he’s literally contract jailed 😭
