me when cant read, was talking about during funnel meta

i agree on the lane swaps. ye, it was kind of a rock paper scissors strategy with the same pattern of weak side always getting dove and bullied, maybe swap lane on reset, etc., but i still think it was more interesting to watch than the traditional way things are played now
but id have to disagree about the funnel meta. it was still a hit or miss even with yi open. if you really hated it, you could just ban yi every game, and if the other team still tried to funnel, it was way easier to punish, same in pro play as well
dota 2 has a higher skill ceiling. u can do different things in pro play, while league's pro-play meta is figured out e.g.sidelanes, drafts, timings , etc. riot is always trying to make it more complex tho by adding restrictions. for example, the funnel meta was nerfed so laners gained less experience and gold from camps. more recently, riot restricted the lane swap meta and then introduced fearless.
i think fearless is their best "limitation" change yet because pros with pocket picks can finally play them depending on the draft. this gives players more creative freedom, unlike the restrictions on the funnel and lane swap metas. isntead of figuring out a way to fix those issues, what they did was just add more restriction giving less freedom to approach the game differently, its pretty dumb
pro play in league nowadays just rewards team with better coordination, while dota seems to be more strategic icl (havent played/watched dota for years now but based on what ive seen, it seems like it)
based on what uve enjoyed, easily black mirror. if u into that future dystopian horror vibe. maybe three body problem as well
cant think of anything that is a standout this year tbh, but ive seen some sequels that i think are an upgrade or as good as their predecessors are the bad guys 2 and final destination: bloodlines (probably the best final destination movie, no nostalgia bias)
elio is pretty solid actually
yoru is only balanced for now because his full power hasnt been widely utilized by pros. his strength isnt in his numbers, but in his high skill ceiling and how he capitalise on team coordination as team gets more used to playing with yoru
this is exactly like the easyhoon (substituted faker btw) azir era in league. for a long time, a champion like azir was considered fine because only a handful of players at the top could truly master him. but once he became a staple pick, he was so dominant that riot had to nerf him despite his difficulty.
if yoru follows that path and becomes a must pick for more teams, riot will for sure have to balance him for the competitive scene
dont play league, decisions lately have been questionable, devs really think their game is balanced now for some reason
the comparison wasnt moreso about their skill ceiling, it's about their role as a staple pick in every meta, which azir has been for the past decade, and i think yoru is on that path now
they're high-util characters who thrive on 5v5 team coordination, which is something you only see at the highest level of play. this is also why they can be a nightmare to balance
if you buff them to be more effective for the average player, they become overwhelmingly powerful in pro play. if you nerf them to keep them in check professionally, they become almost unplayable for the general player base. their true power lies in their utility and how it's unlocked by teamwork, and that's the real difference between a soloq pick and a pro play staple pick
yoru will be azir of valorant
zeesbew is the most obvious nepo pickup in valorant esports history ever, the whole ts management should be fired for even letting that happen in the first place. shouldve kept jremy and put him on senti since its his comfort role then see if it works out or not
hopefully we can simply just "unsubscribe" to an event we have no interest in, not just generic filtering stuff
i made a lot of profit by basing my bets on scrim results. a good example was wolves in toronto, they were dominating everyone in apac scrims. the only loss i had was from the sen match, and i skipped out on geng because it felt too risky
this whole “scrims don’t matter” argument is garbage. do scrims perfectly reflect stage performance? no. but do they play a major role in predicting form and potential? absolutely
canzerra drops 200
perfect lineup they could possibly get imo but dont demon1 and marved have beef?
its official..
haodong = mindfreak
mini!! time to prove that fnc made a mistake dropping u by making prx win this series 🙏
why u saying this like zekken is a 3/10 pulling a 10/10? they are both decent looking, zekken might be a manlet but height doesnt mean anything if u have a great smile and personality
he doesnt act normal, he IS normal
G2 LEV C9 SEN
FNC TL TH FUT
EDG BLG WOL DRG

its basically west vs east to this guy obv
w riot for moving the schedule, now we can watch the los ratones game and then prx vs sen right after
they moved the match to 3am, sea is cooked 😭
five star players are better than one
xeppa hate is so forced 💔
rrq is the worst victim of tejo nerf, next to g2
rrq and geng duh, he always goes for pacific
from china farmers to apac farmers ngl. watch them beat prx, geng then rrq in order
jemkin would be a fraud like rarga is today
