its bc when eg went on that run, ethan had the most impact in every single round. stats might say boostio jawgemo or demon1 were the best players but almost all of their kills were set up from ethan who never misses util. like if u were to switch ethan with an average imitator with mid util, eg definitely does not go on the run.

from a tier 2 player and pug tourney guy TO master's finals is anything but overrated. He can underperform in champs and still be rightfully rated as a top jett. This is due to the meta changes & outright mechanical diff in franchised teams. Yay couldnt keep up with top jetts both mechanically or agent-wise. Many duelists couldnt keep up with demon1. But you're an optic fanguy who's mad because demon1 is beating yay as best jett NA. So you're biased anyway and you should not be taken seriously.

i remember how i only watched his stats last year and thought he wasnt good enough for paper rex, then i actually put attention to what he does and let me say being a initiator for both f0rsaken(now something) and jinggg its harder than what people give credit for, and now he doesnt only have better stats fragging-wise but he also improved his game sense and util a lot.

True asf even tho I have seen people rating most of the paper rex players but when it comes to eg they always have been under appreciated and trash talked. Even in this whole thread no one even mentioned com (one of the best sova itw as imp as ethan to the team ), as someone who watched eg for so long it's just that demon1 has suddenly become the face of eg (kinda like how tenz is for sen),but it wasn't all fairly tales just after demon started playing ,we still lost to 100t and got 13-0 by loud on pearl but we showed great potential in all those games except for pearl (demon on Kj was troll even tho he used to play kj on Sqn ) but after that as a team they all played with great synergy and perfection which resulted in the success of eg but yeah people mentions demon 1 more cause he is the star duelist and the face of eg at the moment . Still eg isn't that respected tbh , people meat riding edg ( who didn't even made top4, don't get me wrong they are still good) but I have seen list where people put edg or NRG above eg even after all this performance and hardwork ( forget demon1 , no respect to any of em) ...I hope it changes after the champs hopefully and all of em get the respect they deserves
