Valorant Esports China has announced the teams that will compete for three slots to represent the Chinese region this August in Los Angeles.

Valorant Champions will include 16 teams, with China having three teams to represent them. Unlike the Americas, Pacific, and EMEA representatives that are set in stone along with their Masters Tokyo qualification and the upcoming respective Last Chance Qualifiers, 12 Chinese teams will have battle it out in order to make it to Los Angeles.

While the format is yet to be announced, the playoffs will be held from July 3-16 in Shanghai, China, marking the first offline event for the region. Amongst the 12 teams, four had already qualified for the playoffs earlier based on the results of FGC Valorant Invitational: Act 1 and 2, while the rest of the participants played through a preliminary Swiss stage one month earlier in June.
