Alfajer (looks extremely promising prob 1 title more)

Ethan (same thing but ultimately lacked consistency)

I’d argue he’s only a “better flex” because of the situation he was in. Chronicle never had to have such a deep agent pool. forsaken just plays that many agents because of the inflexibility of his teammates. (They’re flexible now)
I didn’t call any of his 2025 teammates inflexible. I was referring to years before that.
he played a whole comp with his current “flexible” teammates so i don’t see how your point completely holds up
will check 2024 out tho
I didn’t even call forsaken inflexible 😭 I was referring to jinggg and something being unable to play anything but Jett and raze decently
Before patmen they were playing some of the most fuckass comps just to accommodate jinggg and smth, and in those comps it was forsaken changing roles all the time. This was the situation I was talking about
i didn’t say you called foreskin inflexible
you’re saying jinggg and smth being inflexible + the absence of patmen resulted in forbaken flexing
i am now countering by saying that AFTER patmen and AFTER jinggg picked up omen and with something playing brimstone, f0rsakeN is still flexing through all 4 roles
read the post better pls
The point I was making is that chronicle never needed to do any of this, it just falls on what you value more in a flex player: consistency or agent pool
ahem ahem
20+ games only
CONSISTENCY:
f0rsakeN: 1.21 Jett, 1.13 Raze, 1.13 Omen, 1.21 Sova, 1.09 Neon, 1.05 Yoru, 1.19 Kayo, 1.10 Skye, 1.02 Breach, 1.20 Chamber, 1.02 Harbour, 1.15 KJ, 1.05 Fade
(1.2125 rating across 12 agents, 4D 2C 5I 1S)
Chronicle: 1.14 Sova, 1.18 Viper, 1.13 Breach, 1.16 Raze, 1.09 Brim, 1.06 Kayo, 1.14 Chamber, 1.04 Cypher (1.1175 rating across 8 agents, 1D 2C 3I 2D)
jason has a higher rating across more agents. consistency +1
AGENT POOL:
agents with 20+ games played (duelist/controller/initiator/sentinel)
f0rsakeN: Jett Raze Omen Sova Neon Yoru Kayo Skye Breach Chamber Harbour KJ Fade (4/2/5/1)
Chronicle: Sova Viper Breach Raze Brim Kayo Chamber Cypher (1/2/3/2)
jason could win based on the fact that he plays duelist alone, but he also plays more types of initiators which is great!! agent pool +1
you can say chron has more games on his upper agents but isn’t that worse. less even distribution among your flex agents.
if you value both of these criterion then f0rsakeN clears chronicle AS A FLEX!!
Chronicle can absolutely he's just been on a team with two better duelist players since 2023 so he hasn't pulled it out.
cortezia clears. that glorious mustache radiates too much aura even for aspas
Chron won 3 events
And placed 2nd 4 times
Ethan won 2 events
And placed 2nd once
Nobody cares about 2nd places. Ethan won Champs with rookies. Chron had Derke Leo Alfajer for 1.5x events(Lock//IN + Tokyo), let that sink in.
Fnatic 2025 = Furia 2025 typa argument
Consistency
Ethan was irrelevant in 2021, 2022, 2024
And chron only in 2022 due to circumstances out of his control
If Chron didn't have Derke, LEO, Alfajer, there wouldn't be any consistency. Kaajak is great as well but NRG won with Ethan and rookies. End of story.
Idk how one champs win means better than 3x vct wins just make it make sense. Aspiss is nowhere near chronicle unless he wins a masters sacy is more comparable to chronicle then aspas
Meteor long career ahead? Isn't he pretty old and has military service? Also Ethan is pretty old too. They can prob surpass chronicle for a short period but I think chronicle will surpass them again eventually unless he doesn't win anything anymore.
Aspas and alfajer especially Alfa has the best chance among these players since he is in fnatic.
Yeah meteor case is a bit different. He is 26 in dec 19 soon and he has military service left from what I heard. But Ethan is 26 next year and has no military service. Ethan is younger than I expected.
Meteor and Ethan already did. The former did back to back masters. The latter has two POST-Franchising championships.
If you meant skill-wise, nevermind. Chron will still thrive while the two I mentioned are going to get old.
Both Ethan and meteor especially meteor hasn't surpassed chron yet. Meteor doesn't even have a single champs playoffs finish till date. Longevity and consistency matters too in such debates. Chronicle has multiple high ranking finishes in more masters or champs event than the number of international events meteor and Ethan have even played in. This can change next year tho.
liquid spend pennies on their roster each year and yet nAts can still consistently produce results for them. this guy has had one teammate that can play to his level in recent years and still manages to elevate TL to a minimum top 4 in EMEA. i think he's slept on and could honestly do some damage in the goat debate if they would put some effort into building him a team.
