I mean its entirely to allow viper to actually work as a solo controller where she can reset her tools anywhere she wants by picking them up again.
Its merely flexibility and doesn't change anything significant
If you dont pick it up you're not punished, but if you do you have a very strong delay tool that you can now throw again

Liquid in 12th is crazy for how they're bombing out 1-2 in the group stage
