Can Pros shut up?

every fucking time someone complains about how there isnt enough games on the season, how shit the splits are, or how empty the schedule is
There is always some bum ass pro saying shit like "but muh vacation" "think of the burnout" "my mental, my mental".

Shut the fuck up, almost every other esports has a packed schedule and they actually know what they are doing.
Bunch of wusses

Bring back full round robins AND MAKE IT TWO, Split one is a full round robin with all 12 teams, split two is the same.
"But the money, ppl wont watch the games" the casual viewer DOES NOT care about other regions, and riot literally already has a room in their building dedicated to teams facing each other
stop fucking renting out venues, half of the people in there are player friends and familt + staff, you arent making your investment back dipshit
atleast with more games you can get money from sponsorships and viewership

they need time to go home and stream 8 matches a day.

yeah because they dont need to prepare for a rotating map pool and constant changing meta every two months, if u want to see absolute mud fests as the top games, u go protest and make them play more

Sure, they don’t need to do all that but in terms of just actual time commitment spent into practicing, cs pros practice longer than Valorant pros. So there’s still really no excuse

they all do 9-5s with practice and then do content creation after so its the same realistically

the issue is burnout for the top teams but 5 games a year for weaker teams. Theres a huge difference in how much different teams play

there needs to be like a tier 1.5 like cs has where the bad tier 1s and top tier 2s compete

Idk man, G2 probably has the most games played this year, and even for them it’s probably not gonna be more than 40 games played this year

i wonder how much Val players salary compared to cs players that played more matches

Cs has been the same game for 10+ years so the practice and prep is nowhere near as much as Val but they could have something for teams that don’t make internationals to play

I don't think more games would harm anyone to be honest. It forces teams to focus more on their own gameplans over counterstrats, since coaches have less time for prep. For bad teams, it gives them more reps to increase the quality of in-game coms, gives them more reps to test ideas, and lets them get better at teamfighting. It helps the bad teams a ton. But like it literally doesn't matter for the good teams, cause they are already good at that. They still get to anti as much as they want. The general gain as more games means you genuinely need a way better map pool than some current champs teams do not have. Having weak maps with a more active season is way more damning.

I've also heard that a key issue with burnout is how Valorant is so much prac. More games means more direct motivation, and more experience within the "fun" portion of the job.

"But the money, ppl wont watch the games" the casual viewer DOES NOT care about other regions, and riot literally already has a room in their building dedicated to teams facing each other

I can be agree with that but it's should be only the start of your though, you need to go further and think about a whole format.

How would look like the schedule ? 3 BO3 a day on a weekend day + 2 BO3 for 3 days ? Or making the split twice longuer ?
If the regular season is more long, then we need less importance for playoffs ? (What's the point of winning 11 BO3, if you are out after 2 BO3) ? Should we go to the ancestral King of the Hill used by LCK on LoL ?

In my case, I would support making a full RR at least for split 2 since Split 2 is sooo important, and to make some test, but maybe not for Split 1 yet

Just a reminder that LeBron plays 3-4 games at 40 while these players are too "burnt out" of playing video games

i agree but i dont think ive seen any pros complain about vacations and stuff, theyre usually advocating for more games

They are complete different things in the sense for example CS: unlike VALORANT CS doesn't have a constantly changing map pool and meta, the reason why it's so hard for teams to win multiple internationals in a row is because the teams that won are forced to reinvent themselves again due to the change in the meta, mappools etc. If you have never competed in this game before you can't fathom how tiring it is from something as basic as map theory to scrimming and vodding 8+ hours a day
