When you look back at 100T(and asuna's) peak, the player who was consistently the best for them was Hiko. He'd put up amazing utility, clutch 3v1's, shot call, and then put up as many kills as asuna(or at least be within one standard deviation) When all asuna did was play duelist, and there was not one but 2 30+ yo men on the team who did it better.. Not to mention who was doing this when raze and Jett were notoriously overtuned. Now that duelist are leveled out, he struggles, and you can clearly see ot in his play.

Call me crazy, but when 100T wins, it's never cause of asuna, it's always cause of cryo. Asuna puts up the same numbers as boostio, but boosto igls(altho rather poorly) the entire team. Asuna always overheats, and is inflexible in his roles. Atp even icy looks better than him

Asuna is the heaviest bag of dead weight a team can carry

I never really liked ascent, but i downright hate it now after watching it crack PRX and force them to play a meta comp

Asuna has to have pictures of Nadeshot in blackface saved to his hard drive because there's no other reason for him to still be on this team

Hes not a Jett main or a duelist player tho. He played smokes. Jawgemo was the duelist for EG

We still have Jingg and Something as well as the guard core. Hope is not lost.

He's been a drain on the org for years. I honestly think he adds a lot of role confusion for not a lot of game impact. Who knows tho, maybe the coaches and boostio figured something out and we can go back to being the top of NA again.

I really don't mean to throw shade when I say this, but isn't this a little bit invalidated by EDG clearly not sending out their best, and them beating G2 in a bo1? Clearly T1 are strong, but there are still valid questions about their strength.
