felt so dark and gloomy in 2024 for being a TL fan, this year was deserved for you guys
Imagine if nAts became the IGL prior to that season and you could have had another shooter instead of Redgar
true everything worked out for the best they have the best roster they've ever had rn
Winning Stage 1 to getting Top 4 in Shanghai was pretty nice as a fan I'm ngl
Last stage was awful but I blame a lot of that on the format than the team itself
i expected them to go out 0-2 without getting close to winning a map, they did win a couple maps in the end, couldve been better
probably 2024 ngl
came extremely close to beating the top teams but could never close it, devastating at the very least
though this year is also kinda shit
Probably should be Billy Billy but that was short and also funny af. Stage 1 last year just felt grim though

We were good but got thrown against TH in TWO SINGLE ELIMINATION GAMES IN A ROW
Then became shit
Shanghai (Lev), and I’m talking about the de-LATAMization of lev, not the previous eras, which were still better than Shanghai
they weren’t expected to make a deep run in shanghai
losing LCQ finals or bangkok finals definitely way worse
I'm not really someone that's super invested to get upset when a team I support loses in a big moment, I'm more just happy that they made it there at all. What's worst for me is if they don't make it there, so I don't really mind their Shanghai or Bangkok performance, I'm just happy they made it that far.
Like DRG made Shanghai and went out 0-2 losing a very close game against FUT, but that's wasn't the worst for me cause they made it at all. The next split where they went 1-4 and missed champs cause of it, that hurts me a lot more
since i only started watching in 2024 i cant comment on earlier, but, though people like to say it was bad, being the 2nd best team itw is not a slump.
its gotta be swiss stage toronto. losing in that fashion, to a team on an ended (third place pac) run and a kinda random chinese team with hype moments and aura sucked. it was a bit better in playoffs as we saw prx win and wol go on their own run but still.

Now. They've been worse other years but the falloff after attempting a good roster is tragic
I mean I wasn't a Heretics fan before 2024 so gotta be Toronto
I thought it would be Kickoff but in retrospect the players were all riddled with COVID, had been praccing with Weber and neilzinho and didn't take the off season too seriously, plus they only lost to the Kickoff finalists, one of which being near the top of EMEA basically all year so it's not too bad when you think about it
Toronto was just sadge tho

i wish he was still on the team but nonetheless im happy to see him supporting t1 in stage 2 and champs

DRG never had a big big low, except maybe qual to champs 2024 but they are still reasonably well
i mean kickoff this year for sure, but toronto is a close second, it just didnt last very long cause EWC came right after
