Yeah after I got parrying I just realized it’s better to dodge until I get to a parry pattern and then rinse and repeat, that’s how I beat the beastman. I haven’t fought the troll enough to get his movements down.

Also yeah trading blows sucks, I usually just get a heavy blow off then run back

For locking on, it feels a bit weird, I try to do it whenever I fight but maybe I’m just not used to it

unlocked the secret of parrying (thank fuck)
beat beastman in like 5 tries after that (bum ahh talisman reward, is this thing even good? only have seen some worth against the torch guys ig)
farmed the gatefront guys until i had some gear and was like level 10ish
go the other way cuz the stormfront troll touches me inappropriately
despise the horse riders because i have a longsword, and got some ash thing
now to explore i think? cuz aint no way im beating that troll this early

It took me some time to learn quickshell but now that I have, it’s amazing, I have a whole dynamic small island at the top of my screen that hides away when I want it to and it switches between different modes.

You could probably do that in a different distro too tho
