cuz EMEA hasnt won a trophy in a while and looked like the worst region until Toronto and EWC where they redeemed themselves. Also after EDG's champs run, its hard not to praise China especially considering their teams were formed 2 years after everyone else

if BLG almost beat them, imagine what EDG, FPX, or XLG would do to them.
BLG is chinas second seed. Their first, XLG, has completely crashed internationally. Their third seed, wolves, who were good in toronto also crashed and burned in china now. Using BLG as a benchmark seems perfectly reasonable

XLG crashed because they picked up a non-english speaking sub for YOU which messed up the comms with rarga. And the duelist initiator comms are pretty damn important.
EDG are just practicing with zjc, they looked mid when s1mon first joined too.
FPX are just doing good and have good players and shooters
you are just choosing to believe in the best case scenarios as if even half of those would happen. If i did that EMEA would have 8 champs winning teams
If it was best case scenarios, APAC would have won every trophy since franchising
Credit where credit is due, China has some insane aimers and they are one of the more creative regions when it comes to comps and strats. Their growth is evident since they always have at least one team putting in a shift to surprise others at internationals. I would have to agree with angel98 in that China is generally still behind as APAC and EMEA have multiple strong contenders that push for Top 4. Americas feels like a 2-team region with G2 and SEN crushing it. MIBR and KRU have got superstars on their teams, but they don't seem to have the depth that G2 and SEN have.
I would say that at the moment, APAC is on top since they have had 2 trophy winners and GENG is still relatively strong. EMEA is close second since FNATIC are reaching peak form whilst TL and TH are starting to get a lot better with time. Americas third especially since G2 have lost Leaf and SEN are good, but not near their 2024 peak. Lastly China because EDG have fallen off a cliff without S1mon, but there are other solid contenders coming out the woodwork for their own Cinderella run. Despite this, it seems Chinese teams are heavily inconsistent as seen with Wolves getting cooked in region now.

Only FPX can save China with edg and wolves looking bad rn. If FPX get top2 finish and America only relevant team G2 don’t do good, it’s so over for Americas. They might just have to create their own separate valorant circuit and call themselves world champions by winning that like what they do in the NBA

I think right now its APAC = EMEA > AMER > CN
I think people are coping if they think China is above Americas. They have the weakest top 2/3 and would imagine that being the case for rest of the teams as well.
I think CN teams are all mid right now but still better than the bottom table teams of the other regions. Ex. Tyloo would not stand a chance in any other region but wouldn't come last.

KRU LOUD C9 100T look better than some teams in APAC and China for sure, don't know what everyone's fussing about.
