I think its because Americas always seem so dominant and consistent ever since Champs 2023 in terms of playstyle that people just lose faith in them now despite looking very dominant but somehow missing the mark. Like other regions like APAC and China is literally studying NA teams last year because they think Americas has a very consistent playstyle and good fundamentals and majority of people thought G2 would win Bangkok but fail to do so. Considering Americas is a 2 team region and the 2 top team failed to defeat APAC and EU teams just makes the teams that are below them seem weak. Its the same way how most people do not trust in PRX to win a trophy no matter how dominant they look

Why are we still talking about prep time? The matchup happened after EMEA regionals finished so everybody literally had the same amount of time to prep for their opponent. If anything teams that rely on Tejo needs the time to prep comps but TH didnt have comps that used tejo.
