both termi and autumn make extremely questionable coaching decisions. autumn got lowk carried to the trophy by the fact that his team was full of a bunch of cracked players and a rookie that turned into himothy in that run. termi somehow managed to fumble one of the greatest korean rosters the game had ever seen.
I don't know how Termi has somehow managed to have one of the best rosters on paper every year, but still manages to get 5th-6th at every tournament they get to. He has made so many questionable moves and has fumbled so many chances to actually win an international trophy with a roster that can rival GenG and PRX talent wise.
like people have said, guy just makes some really questionable decisions. this split for example he put meteor on tejo instead of his scan init/init player, which was a major pain for them especially during playoffs. also a while back someone on t1 (idk who, but it was on stream) straight up said that autumn doesn't actually give strats most of the time in timeouts, and just tells whoever is underperforming to play better. and of course, t1 at bangkok seemingly just peaked individually, and not because of autumn's coaching.
termi on the other hand cannot get a stable roster, and the one time he did they were chronic chokers. plus last year he did this dumb shit with 0 timeouts during entire series, and the justification was some bs about making stax a better igl. he's honestly better than autumn tho if we're being honest, because at least drx have sometimes looked like there's good coaching behind them

basically he wasn’t a fan of autumns coaching and advised him to use his timeouts efficiently but you can read more about it here. It’s actually crazy that they won a trophy like this now that you bring it up ngl
autumn got fully carried to that trophy but having 4 players competing for the goat of KR title and izu playing like he is the goat of korea he has made horrid decisions left and right but its less warranted then t0rmid nvm i just remember he had izu and meteor on tejo it might be more warranted
t0rmid while having good comp theory fails in every other department decisions bad randomly fucking with the teams roles often fumbled the best KR core oat once or thrice buzz left and immediately got a trophy foxy9 looks like he has hands on geng he looks generally healthier too mentally stax looks better mechs wise somehow
pretty sure he had a phase that lasted a while where he REFUSED to timeout to "train" stax to adapt dont get me wrong thats a W approach extreme maybe but that helped him get past a0t0mn's fraudness
he stuck with cores too long or not long enough never figured out a balance of it the main thing that makes him so hated is the fact that he is a actual good coach he has good theory and good comps good scouting which is MORE then enough to do well not even when get past 5-6th only explantion is he has to be ass at everything else cause if he isnt curses might be real which they aren't so we have good players + good comps + good theory he is the common denominator cause any coach can have good theory at a style or 3 any coach can give good comps and teams can hire scouts so he might as well do fuck all
