They're probably the best T2 team in history, every single aspect of this team is incredibly impressive, u can't even glaze them enough. They're more than T1 ready really, off of eye test they could pbb qualify for internationals
lar0k is also going to fnatic but not sure if after toronto or after champs and they already just bought him

hahshahs nice try. the reason why he replied might be bcs they are interested in him and he's just being nice for that. Other than that i've heard him say he wants to go tier1 with his team all the time. Especially in the after match interwievs, i think he's been interwieved yesterday i guess? sooo, who knows but i dont think he wants to go :/
I think youre over rating them a tad - eye test is really rough in games where the team stomps
Id recommend the game vs CGN just to see how they look when things aren't going their way 100% of the time
Still insane and t1 ready, but I struggle to really call them better than BBL for example
regardless gonna be a fun watch next year either as a team or all the players on different rosters
G2 were never a T2 team (like technically they were but let's be realistic they weren't) and XLG is facing such a weak competition in cn that it's hard to tell, especially considering the fact that they're not playing w their ascension roster anymore. XLG could have been a better T2 team but unfortunately we'll never know
Fair for XLG, I honestly forgot just how much of their roster they changed after winning ascension, I thought it was mostly removing Kristal but I was very wrong lmao.
But I don't really get your point with G2, the Guard were a t2 team whether they deserved to be or not. If your gripe with them is that it's not the same org I don't think that matters at all they still have the core and are the ascension team, and if it's that it's not the exact same team then I'd point out that all of the players have found success and are currently in tier 1, which they are the only ascension team where that is true I believe (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong with that).
I think saying a team that lost ascension last year, and hasn't won it yet is the best t2 ever is pretty wild. Let's wait for them to inevitably win this year first and see how they actually do in tier 1 before we start saying this stuff
The Guard a t2 team? They literally made it to international event and played in tier 1 league. Technically G2 (The Guard core) were a tier 2 team, but they really aren't comparable to other tier 2 teams in that sense. They just didn't make it to franchising.
but yes obviously G2 is the best "tier 2 team"
What? The Guard were a t2 team in 2023. I'm looking at this by a very literal sense, what makes a t1 and t2 team changed with franchising, They obviously didn't deserve to be a t2 team, that's why they won ascension. Regardless of how you feel about it or how fair it is, they played exclusively in t2 that year, they were a t2 team. And once again, I agree, they shouldn't have been a t2 team, but that doesn't change that they were
So? The definition changed with franchising! It doesn't matter if they were considered a t1 team in 2022 cause they weren't in 2023, which is when I am talking about! The definition for what made a t1 team in 2023 is if you played in vct, which they did not! Like I've said, I'm arguing very literally here, I don't think what I'm saying is very hard to understand! Teams can be a t1 team one year and t2 team the next, when the definition of what makes a t1 team changed, it's really not that complicated!
