I think youre over rating them a tad - eye test is really rough in games where the team stomps
Id recommend the game vs CGN just to see how they look when things aren't going their way 100% of the time
Still insane and t1 ready, but I struggle to really call them better than BBL for example
regardless gonna be a fun watch next year either as a team or all the players on different rosters

G2 were never a T2 team (like technically they were but let's be realistic they weren't) and XLG is facing such a weak competition in cn that it's hard to tell, especially considering the fact that they're not playing w their ascension roster anymore. XLG could have been a better T2 team but unfortunately we'll never know

The Guard were in T1 before and just didn't make it to franchising so I always considered them to be a clear T1 team despite spending a year in T2

The Guard a t2 team? They literally made it to international event and played in tier 1 league. Technically G2 (The Guard core) were a tier 2 team, but they really aren't comparable to other tier 2 teams in that sense. They just didn't make it to franchising.
