C9 is so over hated, they choke, but they're always a respectable opponent, dropping yay isn't even a bad move, the bad move was signing him
they improved instantly after dropping yay and vanity for two unknown players
This "improvement" is peaking at 4th place during playoffs which I think the old C9 team couldve done if they tried fixes instead of blowing the whole thing up they didn't even make champs afterwards just because they improved doesn't mean it was a good idea although if the org is going to complain about money then signing yay was definitely silly in the first place
they got a mil off of Tenz's buyout iirc, so it wasn't the worst roster move for c9.
I think it’s probably one of the best roster moves in Valorant. Tenz benched himself so he wasn’t even playing for c9 when he got bought out. C9 got a mil, sen definitely got more than that value from tenz being signed and tenz got to win valorants first international despite c9 being a mid team.
Not only did they let the best player in the world walk, they sent him to their biggest competition and spoon fed them a championship.
