Actually... In any GOAT debate you had to be at least the best of your own era. Literally true for every sport/esport. If lebron wasn't the best player during the 2010s, he would immediately be disqualified from the goat debate. So yeah, you do have the be the best player in the world for at least some period of time.

Then Aspas and Less have, on an individual basis, been the best or MINIMUM second best in their role for their entire career.
If we just look at Aspas, the only people who were ever considered individually better than him on duelist were : Prime Yay, Prime EG Demon1. Thats the entire list.
