The vast majority of people were cautiously optimistic about him lmao, a bunch of pros vouched for him and it didn't seem like a crazy idea at all at the time lol, don't act like NRG crashing and burning was the obvious outcome of a world class veteran player who had already filled secondary caller roles in the past picking up the igl role.
It's the same as SEN using Marved to replace Dephh. It'll work until it doesn't. Just because people are decent at making calls doesn't mean they'll be good as full time IGL, as we saw for both him and Ethan.

Could actually see SEN signing that 1st roster but they keep tenz instead of picking up Marved.
Could also see G2 signing two new players, keeping JoshRT+Valyn+Trent+Leaf (instead of JohnQT on senti), signing Ethan (I'd rather take Verno off OXG next year if they don't ascend) and zekken. They'd probably have to break the bank for zekken tho. Same goes for SEN signing Aspas.
Yea I was thinking of it as something like that of like what I wanted to see of SEN during this past offseason with TenZ as 6th or a content creator and the reason for johnqt was because him and zekken are very good friends and seem to be a package deal now.
