how will they ensure safety for players like fns and keznit?
Almost sure people wont do shit .But if they are going to play ranked , i can see a lot of braindeads shitalking them
1- FNS is safe there, no ones is mad against him anymore (just see his tweet about it, and see the comments).
2- As the same way nothing happened to keznit in LCQ.
3- U guys realy think we are demons huh...
Yes guys, they are safe here. You can trust us :)
Brazil awaits all of you...
FNS is more of a meme now, the joke is "he hates brazilians and gets buffed when playing against us" we know he doesnt hate us, but its funny his best play are almost always against us kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
fns beef is expired bro, that shit is so old, no one will care. keznit idk, nothing happened to him when playing in a massive tournament that determines if he gets to play in the biggest tournament of the year!!! so i doubt anything will happen
keznit played lcq in São Paulo and nothing happened to him so it will probably be fine, the main thing that foreigners should be careful it's about robbers
you're right they are probably planning mass murders in february, nice take bro
my friend says he carries a shitty cheap phone with him as extra in case he gets mugged, so that he can just give that to them and run
its happened three times apparently :(
i feel like the average valorant fan is too young to even know about the fns kng incident LOL
not if this is a joke, or you spend too much time on the internet and think we're monsters or something
i'm from rio and i'm still alive and never been robbed so it's fine..people, especially foreigners, just should be careful walking alone in the midgnight.
Which is true for pretty much any place on earth lol. Regardless even if there are some deranged Brazilians sending death threats to players they're pathetic basement dwellers getting angry watching someone else play a video game. And they're doing it anonymously on twitter, they won't do anything.
Well, the death threats holds no weight at all. They just banter and cultural, we say it to each other all the time here, so people think they can say it to foreigners and it's gonna be receveid the same way. That's just not the case. It's just a cultural/translation problem.
this is a very dumb topic, went many times to São Paulo, i felt the same safety as in LA or NY. Pakistan should be way worse about that.
brazilians are not like this generalized way that is on the Internet, only in the slums that is like this, and look, there are many but in certain places it is very easy to deviate, until today I have never seen a slum in my life, and I have traveled to almost every state
do people on this site think Brazilians are crazy? Players will get yelled at or bood no one will try to hurt them
even tho we have a high homicide rate, none of this happened because gamers raised in condominiums trash talked on twitter trust me
the reasons for that high number is mostly because we are a big ass country and Rio de janeiro
Is crime rate high in the city they are playing in? I don’t see anyone taking online beef to real life but you never know nowadays
if you go to the good parts of NY youre safe but the bad parts are BAD. SP is very tourist friendly so they will be fine, unless they go out after midnight to some questionable parties they will be fine
just avoid the center of the city, there are the most problematic place in the city, the other places are safe.
just be under federal distric/litoral and avoid suburbs and you guys will be fine trust me
Vlr user when millions of foreigners as well as world renowned celebrities (athletes) with hundreds of thousands of haters go to Brazil for the Olympics and the World Cup, which are thousands of times bigger than Valorant esports: I sleep
Vlr users when not even 10,000 nerds attend a video game lan: real shit
Im not sure if i got the details correctly, but a female pro cod gamer got assassinated in brazil after she talked trash
Also brazil has the second highest murder rate cases in any country
"According to investigations, Guilherme got in touch with Sol over the internet after CoD: Mobile matches. Pretending friendship, the criminal lured the young player to his house, already premeditating the murder weeks in advance. Showing clear signs of coldness, he confessed his steps to the police, as well as ties to a hate group on the web. He also sent a PDF where he leaves hateful messages against Christians and makes a nod to terrorism."
Does he look like a normal guy to you? Crazy people exist in every country.
If players don't go to strange places and don't go around showing cell phones and watches, probably nothing will happen.
would appreciate it if u stop talking about EU like u live there too, as apparently u do this everywhere
Here are the 10 countries with the highest homicide rates:
El Salvador - 52.02 per 100k people
Jamaica - 43.85 per 100k people
Lesotho - 43.56 per 100k people
Honduras - 38.93 per 100k people
Belize - 37.79 per 100k people
Venezuela - 36.69 per 100k people
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines - 36.54 per 100k people
South Africa - 36.40 per 100k people
Saint Kitts and Nevis - 36.09 per 100k people
Nigeria - 34.52 per 100k people
🤡🤡🤡
i am pretty sure that some states in USA have a higher homicide rates than brazilian states
Actually they don't need to, because this is a really good way to show ppl around this forums how wrong they are thinking that some '3rd world' countries actually are not what some TV programs/internet videos shows them
We have our internal political issues (as every country itw has their own), but it's not like we are neanderthals or wild animals to not know how to ensure some players physical integrity, or make an AWSOME and coordinated organization to host the biggest event in esports history so far
Don't get me wrong I absolutely agree with you but people are starting to attack each other instead and it will get even worse.
I understand your POV, but your compatriot started it tbh, doing really braindead takes like:
#8 maybe they planend this so they can get an event before doing anything
#13 i have seen some vids of Brazilian jails and i have my doubts
like wtf???
Actually, you're right it didn't get worse and should stay up. For people who actually think like his original statement.
And I'm like 99% sure @Pakijudge is baiting. Maybe the thread was made as a joke but quickly turned into bait with his replies to the people. He is absolutely not serious right now, I'm sure of it. Just look at what he's saying LMFAO
Those "brazilian" jail videos are just way too freaky. Don't search pls
The event will be great and nothing will happen with the players, it's safe like other big cities around the globe.
That being said, I don't mind throwing punches in some of you xenophobic fucks, all with consent of course, so if you think Brazil is a huge slum and you would like to lose some teeth, DM me
i appreciate the gesture mate but wtf is "dm me"? kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk o cara vai brigar via skype
I visited Belo Horizonte for work a couple years ago, it was great. Good food, nice people, 10/10 would visit Brazil again.
Bro, you're something else. How you managed to get this many people is beyond me LMFAO
i recommend Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and Florianopolis, they are not as famous as SP and Rio but i highly prefer them over SP and RJ
Keznit play in radiant elo, in my mind radiants and pros most of them will not want to fuck up their partner's mental, bc they will win.
For the sake of my sanity, I prefer to think that the person who wrote this had no intention of being xenophobic. I often see NA and EMEA community being toxic and agressive towards players, but no one has ever questioned their safety. Sure, Brazil has it problems just like other countries but that does not give any of you the right to to stereotype us as monsters.
Our problem with Keznit is that he was racist towards two brazilians players, but when he came to São Paulo to play LCQ nothing happened with him. We even had an audience and everything.
I don't think our community hates FNS like you're trying to picture. Some people dislikes him bcuz of his CS days and bcuz he said at Masters Reykjavík LOUD players were shit, but if you see the comments of his most recent tweet (https://twitter.com/FNS/status/1570079864798978052) you'll realize most of brazilians are being nice towards him.
We have both Saadhak from LOUD and NZR from Furia who are argentinian and they were well received by the whole community. Also, I'm not a League of Legends fan, but I do know brazilians teams have foreign players (most koreans, I guess) and no one has ever physically hurt them -- I often see these players praising how passionate and loud we are. That said, I advise you to search before talk shit :)
I'm not saying our community isn't toxic or rude sometimes, but that doesn't give you the right to stereotype us like we're savages. NA, LATAM and EMEA are often racist towards us (twitch chat's a big exemple), but we NEVER questioned our players safety in their country. This shit is disrespectful as fuck.
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
the PakiJudge is just trying to bait brazilians, like a kid that dont have nothing to do
