really like this concept, but didn’t watch enough of ‘21 so i’ll refrain from voting. i’d love to see the results and other years
imo the biggest issue is boostio. i've been a supporter of him for a while because he seemingly revived a roster that was very stale in 2024 but his recent performances have been so poor. i understand that he is the igl but he has been given over a full year to implement himself into the team along with bringing familiar coaching talent in zikz. he hasn't fragged hard since eg (and even then it wasn't spectacular) and loses too many 50/50s. we know from comms videos that eeiu makes many audibles as well as asuna, and zander has igled past teams so boostio should have the freedom to aim better. with this in mind, you could try to bring in a reputable igl such as stellar or go the route of a rossy where he can call and shoot. the other alternative is to sign a heavy fragger and let zander igl. if you look at a lot of close series, the entire team will be positive except for boostio. i respect his brian for the game and his calling but 5 years into valorant we can see that having everyone fragging on your team is nothing but helpful.
if you don't like cryo's flexibility, you could consider dropping him alongside boostio and either let asuna go full duelist or let him flex. the other idea is to make him play sentinel full-time similar to meteor on gen g.
i think in the past two years asuna has shown himself to be a real talent and especially a team-player and personally would not let him go. his chemistry with zander has been built up over hundreds of ranked games and they work extremely well together. eeiu is a true talent so i won't say more on him.
likely 100t will give the team the remainder of the year and if they are void of any results changes will be made. in my opinion i would do one of two things. the first option entails picking up a fragging sentinel similar to meteor, flashback, skuba etc. (maybe Blahst? i don't watch enough challengers to know if he's incredible but his stats are strong.) the second option would be to pick up rossy and a tier 2 talent like canezerra (i'm aware he's too young for vct but my point remains.)
if cryo was willing to go senti full-time, my roster would look something like:
asuna (primary duelist)
eeiu (scan init)
cryo (senti, second duelist)
zander (smokes)
rossy (flex) igl
honestly i think he is sniping. idrc that much but i think it's funny as hell. PROD is also smarter than people give him credit for being and all of his accusations except the kill feed one makes sense. NA are the best drama merchants itw

first clip: doesn't 'bait'. clearly playing the lurk role and if his team survives and draws attention he will win his team the round. his team are pushed out and forced into fights thus making his lurk useless. he recognises that and immediately goes to art to support d4vai which is how he catches the other team lacking and hits some nice shots.
second clip: genuinely no idea how you believe that is 'favourable circumstances'. 1v4 with 'less than 30 seconds on the spike'. brother the spike has 40 seconds to explode when planted. he plays it well and in combination with nice shots and loud having some poor spacing he clutches up.
third clip: agreed on the aged nature of the clip, but by far the least skilful. fnatic gave 1v1s and again mindfreak hit nice shots.
now i agree with your initial post, i believe some fresh blood in the team could be very beneficial but the points you made here are moot and genuinely laughable.

No one really wants to hear the hard truth, but here it is. Honestly the ranked system is pretty decent. If it didn’t work then it would not be in place and the good players would not rise to the top. Unfortunately this means you are on the same level as your teammates (only exception would be if you don’t play enough). There is ALWAYS something more you can do. Even if you’re dropping double the amount of kills of the rest of your team, there is something more you can do. Giving good comms, maintaining good mental, glazing your teammates so they play better. It sucks but unless you are mechanically much better than your rank, that’s what you have to do. Or grind AimLabs and no comm instalock Reyna til you hit Immortal. Good luck soldier 🫡
