LEVIATÁN defaults to victory over G2 Esports

LEV has grown significantly as a team in 2026, taking time to reach its current peak with four rookies on the roster. G2, on the other hand, remains the experienced roster that dominates regionally, though still hunting for its first international trophy.

This series began on Ascent, with LEV on defense, running Neon on Chamber with two Duelists to support. G2, instead, earned the first pistol win with jawgemo returning to Yoru alongside leaf on Phoenix. Despite G2 taking the early lead, LEV looked confident to tie it at 3-3 with two different trap plays for B main. The game remained tied at the half, and LEV took the lead with the second pistol win. As the second half dragged into regular gun rounds, Neon , with the Operator, outplayed every strategy G2 threw at him. LEV defeated G2 on map one 13-7, looking comfortable on its map pick.

LEV nails a retake over G2 on Ascent.

Pearl was the map pick from G2, with both teams running similar compositions to map one. The first pistol was another LEV victory, taking a quick early lead off of spike dominating on Neon. Down 4-1, G2 took a timeout to try to manage the firepower from LEV, and an aggressive set play helped recover some momentum. Just like map one, pauses in the mid-round from LEV caused plenty of issues for G2, as LEV entered the half up 7-5. G2 needed a stronger second half than map one, and that came to fruition with a pistol win. The attack from G2 finally built momentum that the team struggled to create all match long so far. Pearl ended with valyn winning a tense round to close the map out 13-9, taking the series to Split.

The final map of Split started with another LEV pistol win, starting on the attack with a third go at the Phoenix and Neon double-Duelist. The question from the side of G2 is whether the team could defend against the consistent B-site defaults from LEV, and the answer looked to be yes early on. The solo Raze from jawgemo was farming LEV, but the teamwork from the rookies was shining. LEV earned the second pistol and won a G2 force round to truly get ahead on map three. The rest of the map was pure dominance from LEV, ending the map 13-5 and the series 2-1. For the first time in five games, G2 not only lost a map but lost a series.

NRG steals final London slot from 100 Thieves

The second match of the day, the one determining the final team going to Masters London, was between the 2025 champions and a retooled 100 Thieves. Starting on Fracture, both teams ran double-Duelist, but with entirely different agent choices. NRG converted the first pistol, but Cryocells stepped up to keep the half close. Yet, as the half stretched on, skuba on Cypher brought an unbelievable amount of value to the defense. Leading 8-4, NRG lost the pistol afterward, and 100T looked primed to tie the map. Then, keiko clutched a big late round to end that momentum, as NRG took map one 13-9.

Ethan shoots down three unaware opponents on Breeze.

Map two was Breeze, with both teams opting for Harbor compositions. Starting on attack, NRG took advantage of a corner not cleared to win another pistol. The slow attacks and fakes from Ethan were scrambling the 100T defense early on. A Cryo ace provided a hope of a first-half comeback, with 100T flawlessly winning the round right after. Despite a strong start, NRG entered the half only up 7-5. 100T then earned a pistol win to tie the map, plus got the cherry on top with a bonus round conversion. NRG fought hard for every round win, reaching map point up 12-11 and completing the series just then. Breeze ended 13-11, and the series ended 2-0 in favor of NRG.

With these results, G2 will face NRG in the lower bracket finals to determine who finishes as the third seed for Americas at London. Then, the victor will face LEV in a best-of-five for a regional title and the top seed.
