While rhyme's addition to Gen.G's North American squad is unusual, there have been other players that have joined North American teams from outside their home countries. Maxim "wippie" Shepelev of Version1, Ha "Sayaplayer" Jeong-woo (하정우) of The Guard, and Son "xeta" Seon-ho (손선호) of Cloud9 are all players that are competing on North American teams from abroad. However, he may not be the last European to venture out into North America, as former teammate Adam "ec1s" Eccles has been spotted amongst a host of names trialing for 100 Thieves.

Pure speculation but maybe if they want to keep Rhyme as a duelist/second Initiator they switch Shawn back to Sova and Koosta back to Sentinel or since I think Rhyme can flex well maybe just him to Sova?

I guess I was more trying to keep Rhyme in the second Initiator/Raze but I feel like the point of signing him was his flexibility so this would work. I agree though that they definitely could have used a Jett specialist. NaturE is good but there are definitely better roles that he could fill

No one in NA wins with this transfer, only annoying geng fans that have never been able to accept that their team is the most overrated team in NA.
