"Thank you for your support of ZETA Dep over the years! I think I was able to work hard for about four years thanks to your support," Dep said in ZETA's release. "The main reason I gave up on my activities in Tier 1 was because I personally felt that I no longer had the motivation and skills necessary to continue challenging myself in VCT Pacific, and because I began to feel the desire to take on new challenges, such as working on an English roster and using my experience to train young players. I would appreciate your continued support in my new environment."
Dep joined ZETA back in 2022, playing alongside well-known Japanese talents like

. In his debut campaign with the squad, ZETA achieved a third-place finish at Masters Reykjavik, behind international powerhouses

. They ended the year at Champions Istanbul, entering the partnership era of VCT with momentum as one of Asia's strongest teams.
In 2023, ZETA went 5-4 in the Pacific League, ending the year 5th-6th in the region but capping off a dominant run at the Pacific Last Chance Qualifier to qualify for a second straight Champions event in Champions Los Angeles. The 2024 season, however, was a struggle for ZETA and Dep. ZETA picked up just three wins in regional play, ending the year ranked eighth in an 11-team Pacific region. In 2025, Dep dealt with a shoulder injury, leading to ZETA picking up TenTen as its new Duelist player and shifting Dep onto the Sentinel role.
Dep, who made his debut with REJECT in 2020, will now return to his roots in the Japanese Challengers scene. After finishing fourth in the Japan Finals with a squad led by
