He plays all of the initiators so he fits in there. Also he plays Viper so he could play that on double controller maps if their flex player is more comfortable on skye

I actually don't think boostio's was that bad he just whiffed the shots...c0m though yeah that was a throw

I actually really like the first point you make here. Having marved on the main roster just leads to so much support for whoever the duelist is...I personally am fine having zekken as the main duelist but I also kind of wanna see if Tenz could get back into form with the extra support

I like GE's odds a lot more...As long as Monyet plays like he has been they really only need like one other person to pick it up but I feel like no one on Talon has had that amazing performance yet

Pl1xx is tired of having no wins this group stage lol

posted about a year ago

At least for LCQ I would argue it was Stewie heavily underperforming

posted about a year ago

I mean technically NA already took him since he's a coach for TSM

posted about a year ago

Feel like that makes sense since C9 and 100T both have played with their rosters in a tournament so they already have that point to build off of, while sentinels and T1 both haven't done that yet

I feel like a lot of Americans kind of overated patiphan in terms of XERXIAs success in champions as well. The first time they beat OpTic Sushiboys was the biggest part of their success and when they actually did well against Gambit while he did top frag it wasn't by a lot. The team has a lot of power besides flashy duelists which was just ignored.

It's really weird because the at least in recent history the Brazilian teams (Vivo keyd and Team vikings) did great against top placing teams like gambit and acend but then get decently stomped by Team Secret and XERXIA. Kinda curious if it's specifically the APAC play style or if it's just kinda luck it's been those teams

posted about 2 years ago

They definitely played well so kinda excited to see them play internationally. I still think they need to be careful though since at least going on champions they can have issues against APAC teams so hope they straighten that out

posted about 2 years ago

In general I think Brazilian teams were better than their respective LATAM teams it was just KRU that at least so far proved themselves better. Definitely can see LOUD beating them now and with this performance possibly NIP too

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly okay if NIP win it here too since they honestly just look better today so they deserve it

posted about 2 years ago

1 because I think the threads calling a match over before it's even near done are hilarious so I want three more maps of it

posted about 2 years ago

Completely agree with zombs but looking at stats in recent games sick has only near bot fragged like once and also has the deepest agent pool on the team?

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know how much you watch/watched KR but do you think they would have had more opportunities if they had left NA and kept their Korean roster back? Vision strikers was even more dominant back then but maybe they could have risen to like a NUTURN or F4Q?

posted about 2 years ago

They probably are just using these tournaments to trial their front runners so he may be back depending on how they do in this tournament

posted about 2 years ago

Genuine question but why is it not possible that wardell just couldn't play today/in this event for irl reasons and seven is just a one time sub? I'm seeing a bunch of threads on roster changes with no evidence unless I'm missing something?

posted about 2 years ago

Not really fair given you have no idea what's happening behind the scenes even now. At this point unless they've talked about it since your comment no one knows what they did/didn't do and riot is unfortunately allowed to do what they want in this situation anyways. I agree it's a completely unfair decision given what happened with navi and fpx but that's not on bleed whatsoever.

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like a major issue is most NA teams are awful at map control and retaking space. Teams will take an area of the map without having an out if a push fails so when they go to back out they either have to check everything or just rush to the other site and lose on time.

posted about 2 years ago

Technically aren't three CIS teams in the same group too? Unless I'm wrong I though FPX went through CIS now?

posted about 2 years ago

I don't even like sentinels but I don't get ShahZaM hate when he is pretty consistent and rarely near the bottom of the score board while also IGLing

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly is probably more of a starting roster to see if they want to invest more in valorant. If there are some pieces of the team that look really good then they may choose to start investing more and upgrade talent

posted about 2 years ago

C0M plays mostly sentinel so the roles would work out and technically he doesn't have to igl...He can put up good numbers to make it work but I don't know if he has enough experience in comparison to others they could get

posted about 2 years ago

Both of those teams have 1-2 times and I don't know why they stopped but I feel like this tournament was missing a lot of usual teams. Pioneers weren't in this one and Knights haven't been in one in a month even though they seemed to be kinda picking it up

posted about 2 years ago

I actually never got losing rr for this cause in the end if a person doesn't like a map that much then they either probably won't do well or won't care which just hurts everyone's rr

posted about 2 years ago

I guess I was more trying to keep Rhyme in the second Initiator/Raze but I feel like the point of signing him was his flexibility so this would work. I agree though that they definitely could have used a Jett specialist. NaturE is good but there are definitely better roles that he could fill

posted about 2 years ago

Actually didn't know that but if that's true then I don't know how they do this cause I feel like he'd be the easiest to switch rolls with given his experience

posted about 2 years ago

Pure speculation but maybe if they want to keep Rhyme as a duelist/second Initiator they switch Shawn back to Sova and Koosta back to Sentinel or since I think Rhyme can flex well maybe just him to Sova?

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe on maps that are really good for Raze that's where SicK can be the duelist since he usually popped off on it on Bind. I kinda like him as the Skye/Sage though since he's able to both play around his team but still get frags

posted about 2 years ago

Wait a sec I think you just figured out international transfers

posted about 2 years ago

Pretty much everyone else on the team has the potential to pop off so it isn't too awful but I feel like they definitely could find a better Sova.

posted about 2 years ago

I believe DZ are trialing PureR and YaBoiDre said he may want to go back to playing controller so it would require a swap or two but it could work if they wanted to sign both

posted about 2 years ago

A little more forgivable since he's an IGL but I looked at past matches and he's almost always bottom or 2nd bottom frag but maybe they have an idea behind him

Definitely a viable choice

posted about 2 years ago

Talked about this on another thread but I feel like the much better option may just be to find another Jett. The impact keznit has as Reyna/Breach is way too great to switch him unless there is a suitable replacement for that role

posted about 2 years ago

Can definitely agree since there definitely is a loyalty and chemistry those players have to each other. Getting rid of one of that is not a smart move unless there is a solid replacement ready

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like his ability on Reyna makes up for the lack of true flashes on their comps when he plays it. Someone I was watching mentioned that as a possible issue but honestly with the space he can make anyways I say leave him on the Reyna until it truly becomes a problem because it really hasn't been yet

posted about 2 years ago

Hate how some people only see kills and forget how important having an IGL like this can be. Also while he definitely had bad plays he's also clutched multiple rounds Fnatic would have lost otherwise so he 100 percent should not be dropped unless they have someone miles better

posted about 2 years ago

I would say if anything leave keznit on the agents he already plays and try and get someone else as the Jett. He's clearly very successful with the Reyna/Breach so it would be risky to try and switch him. It's failed multiple times in other teams and even if it worked well for him I feel like KRU wouldn't be able to find someone to fill his role as effectively.

posted about 2 years ago

Unfortunately they kind of already have since only Babybay is confirmed to stay and possibly ZachaREEE. The recent tournaments have shown a lot of unsigned talent though so a good rebuild is always possible.

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like the people who overrate him are remembering the days when he was ahead of the curve with viper. Now that players have caught up he just isn't as good.

posted about 2 years ago

My guess is that they probably have both for more flashes to counter OPers

posted about 2 years ago

Looking at past matches nAts and maybe Sheydos have shown higher frag potential than most of vision strikers so I can see what he is saying but they are way too inconsistent. Maybe at their absolute best I could see that argument but on average most of vision strikers is individually better.

posted about 2 years ago

Can definitely see this happening since Gambit was dominating on icebox until 100T changed their strats and then they fell apart and couldn't adapt. Especially scary for Gambit since Vision strikers also has a lot more experience and could do the same.

posted about 2 years ago

Biggest thing that I think could be a concern for Gambit is that VS are similar to 100T in that they have a majority of players with years of LAN experience. I could definitely see Gambit starting out really strong at first but struggling as Vision strikers adapts to them later. If they are able to learn from their loss and keep their heads even if VS starts closing the gap then they have a really good shot of beating them. Should be a really good match no matter what though.
