becauase factors like luck and randomness play a role in valorant so sometimes a team that plays better will still lose due to some uncontrollable factors or bad luck.

For example if a team loses 12-14 but 12 of the rounds that they won were all flawless rounds, and they lost to a team which won all 14 of their rounds through clutches, in this example it would be quite obvious that the team who lost did in-fact play better.

there are many more examples of situations like this but my point is that your argument is fallacious
