If they didn't get antistratted by LOUD, they would of 100% won Champs, we can all agree on that. EG would of gotten slapped around by FNC, so we have to put a BIG asterisk on EG's Champs "win". Think about it.

I don't wanna sound too bias, but i'd like to throw NAVI's name out there too. They were CLEARLY better than LOUD based off of the eye test, but got screwed over by Saadhak (🤡🤡) using Judge (🤡🤡🤡) on Bind (hookah). If they didn't get caught off guard by that cringe gun, they would of won in OT. So now we have the inferior squad of EG winning because FNC got antistratted by LOUD. Is that fair to FNC or the viewers? Absolutely not. I'm not an NA hater by any means but we have to be fair and say that FNC (maybe even NAVI) are the actual "deserved" winners of Champs 2023.

it’s true FNATIC would’ve won Champs if it wasn’t for LOUD, considering every other team wasn’t able to adapt to their repetitive book of strats heavily leaned on their aim. but if there is a team that will always knock them out of the tournament, can they even be considered the best when they didn’t even make it to top 3?
there is also the context that LOUD players could barely sleep with their run (roughest in the history of international events), they were restless against EG. if they had been able to close 2-0 against PRX on Lotus (and they should’ve imo), they would’ve easily won Champs 2023. i think LOUD was the better team in 2023 overall. not to mention LOCK//IN should’ve also went for LOUD if it wasn’t for that choke in front of the home crowd. also EG (the champions) were LOUD’s lil toy in Americas, when there wasn’t any schedule issue
if you come to think about, the only incontestable Champions trophy was LOUD’s. they could literally beat any team. you can’t say the same about Acend and EG.
LOUD had the tools to win the Champions, but their rough path throughout lowers was solely their fault. That match against PRX was kind of unlucky, but the one against DRX was hideous, they got dominated. If they did won both these matches their lives would be so much easier.
Also, EG from Champions is a totally different beast than EG from Americas. I still think there isn't a gap between the final top 4 teams, but clearly EG is better than LOUD only because Potter did a better job on setting their team play, LOUD lost so many eco rounds that they didn't deserve more compliment. I repeat, they had the tools (5 players from LOUD are better than the overall EG except maybe Demon1), but failed to work together like EG did so well.
