Champions schedule announced

Following the group stage reveal just three days prior, Riot Games has announced the schedule for Valorant Champions 2023.

Taking place over nearly the entirety of August, the group stage will go on from August 6 to August 13 inside Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. Two dark days will follow on the 14th and 15th after groups see completion.

Playoffs start August 16, split into two segments between both venues. The first segment lasts until the 20th, including the first two upper and lower rounds. Three dark days will then follow from August 21-23. The last three days of play will include the upper final and lower semifinal, lower final, and grand final, beginning August 24. Each of these matches will take place in the Kia Forum.

i love how riot realized the season was way too short so they added random breaks in between champs for no reason at all

3 day breaks seems to be the norm for the interim time before bigger stages in the bracket, more than likely to allow ample prep time as well as rest for the players too. I don't see that big of an issue with it, they did that way with Lock In and Tokyo (break between groups and playoffs being only a day and a half though for Tokyo)
