Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan will be moving to content creation, according to the organization.

G2's move to the United States had been in the works for some time, as the organization was considered a frontrunner for the 2023 VCT Americas, and had anticipated the move by dropping their European roster. A public incident involving former CEO Carlos Rodriguez quickly excluded G2 from the Americas partnership, and forced the organization to pivot into building a team for Tier 2's Challengers League North America.

The North American roster, unveiled last December, joined former Sentinels Sentinels North America Rank #2 TenZ Tyson Ngo Zellsis Jordan Montemurro zekken Zachary Patrone johnqt Mohamed Amine Ouarid Sacy Gustavo Rossi and Version1 Version1 Inactive names with Francis "OXY" Hoang, a young up and comer who played for the likes of Knights Academy Knights Academy Inactive and Dark Ratio Dark Ratio Inactive Ange Adam Milian Trick Justin Sears ZexRow Anthony Colandro Drone Taylor Johnson Will William Cheng before signing for G2. Ian "Immi" Harding, former V1 coach, was also brought on as a coach.

G2's venture into the New World kicked off successfully, as the roster finished the first Split in third overall and then climbed to second in the Mid-Season Face Off. Their Mid-Season grand finals loss was followed by another five losses, leaving G2 to finish Split 2 winless.

The team still reached the playoffs — which qualified two teams to VCT Americas Ascension — thanks to previously-accrued points, but were only able to piece together one win and finished outside the top four. Making the playoffs also meant G2 secured their place in next year's VCL NA, alongside the other seven playoffs teams and the two best teams of the Play-In Relegation.

Every one of G2's former members are looking for offers. ShahZaM has not made any public statements, but G2's Valorant Twitter acount has said he will remain as a content creator for the organization.
