The new BBL lineup demonstrated themselves as a potential contender early on, achieving the organization's best-ever results in VCT EMEA. They began their season with a top-six finish in Kickoff and later came one win away from qualifying to Masters Toronto with a fourth-place result in Stage 1.
In the Stage 2 playoffs, BBL once again found themselves one win away from international qualification in the lower final against GIANTX, where only the winner would be awarded the final slot at Champions Paris. With the stakes higher than ever, a 0-3 heartbreak loss once again barred the squad from the global stage despite them placing third in the bracket due to FNATIC and Team Heretics both having more Championship points.
