BabyJ, Ec1s, and Hikos alteration beat guard convincingly on split as well. One thing hasn't changed their split is still amazing. And not to mention everything else has improved considerably. Would be a close game I think, 100T could honestly pull this off cuz they keep on improving.

The first roster started better initially because they had hiko asuna and ethan, core players who played together for a year. So yes, initially they started better. The skill ceiling (the maximum skill they can reach given infinite time) is way higher on the new roster. But the skill that they are at currently, yes, the ec1s roster was better. Do you not remember them taking a map of the guard and going semi close to c9?

Bang proved himself.
Will used to be one of the most underrated entry fragger for BBG and that team was one of the best tier 2 teams.
And stellar also has a good track record as far as individual skill goes.

I think 100T def has better coaching, but you're for sure underestimating MCe here. When it comes to map pool, the guard will probably ban Breeze, and then 100T prob haven, unless they've been doing some work on it. Then the guard will probably pick either icebox/bind, and 100t will pick split. Second round of bans will prob be ascent for 100T and the latter of icebox/bind for guard, and then fracture is map 3

Assuming that Fade along with Sova nerfs don't completely upturn the meta (because at that point all predictions are meaningless as every team is starting from scratch) I think this matchup is going to come down to how well Sayaplayer has adapted to the Jett nerfs.

I predict Saya will be flexing off of Jett more to Chamber and Raze, if his Chamber/Raze can play even close to the level his Jett was at then The Guard will take this. His Raze has been mediocre and they've lost most of the series where he's played it but as a team Guard is much better than 100T. Especially if Trent returns to form.
