JustEnjoying [#2]BabyJ, Ec1s, and Hikos alteration beat guard convincingly on split as well. One thing hasn't changed their split is still amazing. And not to mention everything else has improved considerably. Would be a close game I think, 100T could honestly pull this off cuz they keep on improving.

This roster was never 13-0 by them LOL you're ignoring all of the changes and growth. Not saying 100T wins this, but I am saying you're braindead to think that they'll just get 13-0 and it won't be a good game at all.
i actually think 100t can beat the guard, better coaching, better players similar environment, both hungry to win.
i think with sean and mikes they can anti strat guard just enough to where they can beat them 2-1
guard aren't really known for their split, fracture or breeze so if they instaban haven and maybe bind i think it could be interesting

That is not even close to true. What planet do you live on? This teams floor and ceiling are way higher than the babyj and ec1s version of the team. On the basis of chemistry AND talent level.

The first roster started better initially because they had hiko asuna and ethan, core players who played together for a year. So yes, initially they started better. The skill ceiling (the maximum skill they can reach given infinite time) is way higher on the new roster. But the skill that they are at currently, yes, the ec1s roster was better. Do you not remember them taking a map of the guard and going semi close to c9?

Assuming that Fade along with Sova nerfs don't completely upturn the meta (because at that point all predictions are meaningless as every team is starting from scratch) I think this matchup is going to come down to how well Sayaplayer has adapted to the Jett nerfs.
I predict Saya will be flexing off of Jett more to Chamber and Raze, if his Chamber/Raze can play even close to the level his Jett was at then The Guard will take this. His Raze has been mediocre and they've lost most of the series where he's played it but as a team Guard is much better than 100T. Especially if Trent returns to form.
