This is a very well summarised response for how G2 play.
They're all most of the times equal stats wise because of the way they have their system in place.
Icy doesn't need to go +15 every map but he needs to enable them to do what they are doing, in which he's clearly doing a great job.
I think people still don't credit G2 enough, they play very well and in a more different manner than most teams
Run it back with the Sayf-Leo-Trexx trio on Vitality
Wait what.
If I remember correctly you should have deleted your account because of a certain statement you made some time back
VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024 as well along with Masters Shanghai and Stage 2
And as per Liquipedia, it was also an S tier event
I think by now, Munchkin probably has taken that spot.
Managing that team and making 5 grand finals in a row is ridiculous (winning 3 of them)
He's proven that stats don't mean everything, he enables G2 to perform in their system.
W icy
Aight so if the basis is stats then Chronicle is better solely based on the fact that Champs is more forgiving with 16 teams and double elimination and Lock//In was single elimination 32 teams
Yeah honestly fair, but still the fact that those shots are still easier to whiff (don't ask me it's the shots where the enemies don't look at you that you whiff the most, can attest from personal experience) makes it look that much more ballsy.
Fair analysis though
Let them cook🗣️🔥
What makes you think it is not a high risk high reward?
I mean you're guaranteed sacrificing yourself so unless you get 2 you'll only be either equalising the numbers or you whiff your shots and now it's a 5v4 with some major util gone.
I understand it's not that all crazy but that's for sure one of the most high risk high reward plays of all time
Not having Riens there is kinda crazy no?
With Leo being inactive there's an argument that he's the best initiator in EMEA and possibly contending for in the world too
I'd say so and he's the only one I suppose who has has this level of consistency on 3 rosters.
People may not remember but he and Guild were pretty good, made prime optic lose and made yay go negative for the first time in the longest time
Carried Liquid despite calling issues
And now onto vitality.
That's 3 different rosters, 3 different environments and he's still at it
Bruh this is interesting to say the least ☠️
They just can't digest the fact that G2 have a system and icy works for that system, they play differently and do not even need icy to go double positive but when he does that's a cherry on top.
Icy has been real good, his older stats are deceiving, kinda like Kru was last time, losing all games so you'd think they're bad but all the games being close.
We will have to see. Revenge would go hard for GenG, 3-2
Oh yeah mb, that was a mistake on my end
Oh yes, Karon is almost at 1000 too.
There's nothing much to say man, they play real good Valorant.
Yeah man, I honestly would like to see them make finals, that'll be a completely unrelated stat and we might have the longest standing 'most consistent' team in Valorant history by that.
Yeah it's like mechanical prowess paired with actually great mid rounding and strats.
They always turn up, one of them can save a game
With this win, GenG are now a team which will have played a grand final in every event they've been to this year.
Kickoff finals ✅
Masters Madrid finals ✅
Stage 1 finals ✅
Masters Shanghai finals ✅
Stage 2 finals ✅
Absolutely insane, they've been insane throughout
Facts bro, he has a default aura just by the way he carries himself
I think they've both proved they're both amazing on Omen.
Here's another fact to sell you that they're perhaps on equal terms
S0m -> remove the first Letter (S) => 0m ≈ Om
TenZ => remove the first letter (T, comes after S alphabetically too, they're near each other) => enZ
Hence when you combine both you get OmenZ or W Omen mains
Okay, idk why I typed whatever I did but aight.
Fr
How and when did you lose your stars?
Exactly my thoughts.
I definitely had them like 3-4th in APAC
But man do they play some real good Valorant.
Munchkin is such an insane IGL
It is always the 'my favourite team or <insert name of a clouted team> did not make it so it is a Mickey mouse tourney' narrative which does not make sense for me
Which in turn would mean these 'real' teams are fraudulent as well.
TH have always had a bad mental with their resilience and the ability to overcome the mental block and come back.
Once the thrifty happened the score went 26-4
As they did now.
Historically so many teams that back Lans and lose in the GF end up winning the next
Breach will be meta. His ult can yeet people off the map, stun + aftershock is very strong for a map with so much open space and he pairs a bit too good with Neon and Yoru
His firepower is honestly the worst among tier 1 tbh
Kayo is his best agent, simply that TH were abusing Neon when other teams were sleeping on her.
His agent pool definitely can and will widen
Give this guy the respect he deserves, bro is the Verno to Wo0t's reduxx and is a silent fragger
Match made in heaven
I feel the way G2 play Valorant is just different, they don't rely on icy to make flashy plays for the most part, they'll enable him to take space but he will enable them to trade majority of the kills.
His stats don't show how good he is at that job but I think this system that G2 have, icy is a perfect fit for it
It is exactly as you mention.
Benjy and Wo0t have flashy personality and are both well known, PaTiTek has made a name for himself because of being an elite sub and Boo is the IGL so he isn't in the convo.
The one who's the most quiet appearing is Riens when as you mentioned stat wise he is ridiculously good as well
