After competing for six years for some of the most notable squads in LATAM and Brazilian Valorant, Benjamín "adverso" Poblete has called it a career.
“This has undoubtedly been the best six years of my life,” he said. “I achieved things I could only imagine before: playing in a world championship, living abroad, traveling the world, representing an entire region, and making a living from it.”
He cited a gradual decline in passion for the game, one that has been lingering for a while, but only from a playing perspective.
“This isn't a definitive goodbye to esports,” he said. “My intention is to keep making an impact from another position, so I'm open to new projects and opportunities.”
adverso began his playing career in 2020, playing in a hyper-competitive scene alongside names like

At 28 years old, adverso turns the page on his playing career, and leaves having been not just one of the most notable Sova players in the LATAM region, but a central figure in Chilean Valorant.
