With the future of academy squads in doubt heading into the 2027 season, the announcement may hint at the end of the KRÜ SPARK project, which began at the start of this year. In year one, the SPARK team has shown promise, recovering from a weaker Stage 1 by finishing second at LATAM Masters and then finishing second at Stage 2.
