what's a peak fiction for you? it could be anything, a video game, comic, movie, aime/show, etc. and doesn't matter if it's nostalgia bias or thing that impacted your life but isn't loved by most. also nyone who has experienced your favorite thing can rate it.

Attack on Titan back in the day was peak fiction for me
It was the first piece of fiction that I really tried to engage with on a more cerebral level than pure entertainment and for a while it was undoubtedly my favourite story of all time, and I'd say it's what gave me my love of literary analysis

the his dark materials series is pretty good for beginners id say. the books arent too long only about 400 pages each and its a trilogy
best thing about one piece is the theories and mystery element. they are so fun. 8.5/10 for me.
Doraemon steel troops and hxh will always be peak fiction for me. Also inazuma eleven. If I had to choose one tho then it's Doraemon. Nostalgia biased. The emotions can't be recreated.
Steel troops movie is goated for sure. Doraemon movies are generally so good. The three magical swordsmen is the best. 8.7/10 for steel troops.

Average shows are shit as well. I sometimes can't believe how people watch those shows. And average book is thrown in some corner of the book store or not published at all. Majority of any media is shit.

and if you go further and take the best of each media form anime also ends up as the worst, even if only purely because it's a newer media form with a lower quantity (also most anime's target audience is teenagers)
