I really don't understand why people put HxH as like a top 5 anime, it's great but in my personal opinion not that great tbh
Cause it's that great. The characters, power system, plot are just that good. Power system of it alone makes it top 10 for me personally. And chimera ant arc was so good. It was my first anime so at first I didn't really complete it or just skipped a lot but rewatched it again and it just hit different.
ant is the worst... It was good until that arc... just to put a moralistic arc about "humans are bad, look the ants getting better than humans. Look the protagonist getting bad, revange is bad people!"
hate these shit made for kiidos.

I just loved the sports and the cards fights so much. And initial hunter exam arc is also so engaging and fun.

Arguable for sure. Hxh is still better for me and sbr also puts Jojo above it for me.
Imo these are the best hands down.

- Summertime Rendering (compelling and interesting story)
- 91 Days (feels like home to me)
- To Be Hero X (recency bias but I haven't enjoyed an anime in a long time)
- Erased (one of my first animes and imo one of the better ones out there)

An objective list would definitely be more varried in genres, but all are great nonetheless.
Well it's close to being objective. A thing will sort of become objective if most people agree on it and this list is like the closet to that as these are very popular and liked a lot as well.

Its more that people who watch a lot of anime sometimes develop a kind of superiority complex over those who only watch mainstream titles, and they feel the need to put them down to make what they watch seem better
No theres much better anime than AoT, and also in case if u dk AoT is copying Claymore, I never considered AoT a particularly special manga. The concept of the AOT world is very similar to the Claymore world. Claymore explores the wild side of monsters and special forces more deeply than politics and human conflict. anime and manga that delve into the gray area where right can be wrong and wrong has a reason are actually nothing new. examples include Monster, 7Seed, Berserk, Gantz, Neon Genesis Evangelion, almost all of CLAMP's works, and many others not comparable to the maestros who produced several masterpieces such as CLAMP, Naoki Urusawa or Norihiro Yagi. AOT has many elements that are similar to its predecessors nothing special about it.
I cant agree with you. I know about claymore and aot does its job much better IMO. Also I have watched some of the manga/anime that you list and I would still take AOT over all of them, althought I really loved Monster as well

These kids like to shit on AOT for no reason other than "oh I personally didn't like it" then it's a YOU problem. Objectively it's one of the highest rated series EVER, and the episodes and moments show it.

I mean, AOT is a legendary anime for sure, but some have their own preferences because of nostalgia or theming. Some may not like AOT's constant screaming for example (like Sideshow), or some might prefer more fight scenes like Dragon Ball, Naruto and all.
