best way to get into anime is to just try something random that takes your fancy. My first anime was toradora like 8ish years ago which is a romance anime so kinda along the lines of what you were looking for, but until that point i had never watched or read anything to do with romance, it just one day took my fancy.

with hitting certain weights, especially on bench, the two things that move it are muscle mass and technique. Either you dont hold enough muscle to move the weight, or your technique is bad. If your other lifts are decent and its benchpress that is lacking I would suggest looking into lifting cues that help you maintain good technique.

Best ping pong the animation:
Visually outstanding and unique, it’s fresh every time you rewatch it because literally nothing else ever will look the same. The way the art style changes based on the intensity of emotion, the way it feels like watching a manga come to life at times with the panelling effect.
Then the story and characters itself is the PERFECT coming of age story in all of fiction. Literally any character in the show you could say oh he’s my favourite and it would be understandable, everyone has their own unique story, challenges, emotional turmoils, life philosophy, all delivered through the vessel of ping pong.
To top it off it has probably my favourite score in all of anime, kensuke ushio (chainsaw man, devil man crybaby) is the goat.
Worst: Platinum end
Probably not the actual worst show I’ve ever seen but there’s no point me talking about some random isekai slop with 2000 total watchers on MAL.
Platinum end was just incel fueled hatred in anime form. Made me feel disgusting just watching it, I cannot believe this is the same guy who did death note and bakuman (well if you think about all the women in these shows it makes sense). Just edgy for the sake of it, lacked anything interesting, terrible animation, awful bland characters, just truly abhorrent stuff.
