There's a local indian streamer called harsh , I watched one of his videos in 2022 where there was first mention of nats in his video and then I searched up nats and then I watched vct for the first time, more dedicated vct watching started when I watched the platoon prx vs NRG bind video and then I was a vct and a prx fan. What got me into gaming was my own dad who first purchased a smartphone when I was like 4 and downloaded angry birds on it and gave me to play
Dreamhack once came to my hometown around 10 years ago and I went because I liked gaming, didn't know anything about esports.
I saw a CS:GO game of old G2 with KennyS playing and liked the crowd going crazy for him. Been watching basically every esport ever since.
Mostly I used to play games on the phones before smartphone came into market also I have played very less PC games like only played San Andreas and vice city until I got a normal office computer in which I used to play tanki online on miniclip and zero console games
Less got me into valorant
dk got me into fortnite
aleksib got me into cs
technoblade got me into minecraft
my dad got me into world of tanks (my first online game ever thanks dad)
Nadeshot and Tarik got me into Csgo and CDL /Esports in general. For gaming it general it was Captain Sparklez and DanTDM
MKleo and Hbox in smash and around the same time Jonas vs Joseph in the Classic Tetris World Championship
gaming was cs 1.6 using my father laptop playing with touchpad
esport was prx run on vct sea stage 3 and then watching gambit on berlin 2021 was peak af
the games that got me into gaming were definatly
minecraft, stardew valley, and World of tanks 11 years ago
i then got into esport during 2023 Champions
first game i ever played was probably the original angry birds in like 2010
got into gaming playing roblox in 2016
got into competitive gaming playing sweaty minecraft during covid
got into val bc of friends & the esports scene because of fnatic in 2023
crossfire got me to fps games since my parents didnt let me get css at first, loved it and kept playing it even after i got css, up until csgo came out and my friends who played css switched to it and convinced me too
and esports just a little after that, i got recommended a random video from nip vs verygames and pretty much instantly was hooked and started following tourneys regularly, which also got me deeper into playing fps games

all my friends were talking about it when it was announced and idk why but that started my interest for esports

Pewdiepie introduced me to pubg (bridge incident LOL), then started watching people like shroud, kaymind, then got into apex cuz of aceu and hal

I got recommended a TMV video which included the DRG logo and so i got invested in them
I used to play ps3 cod zombies with my dad than what really got me into gaming was whan my dad stole a Xbox for Christmas so I played games for a couple years mainly just gta online fortnite than we moved my mom got me a ps4 than I started playing apex and fornite met my friend drizzi and we started grinding competitive apex and fortnite together mainly ranked some tournaments and that's pretty much it now I don't play competitive games anymore because my friend ghosted me for no reason so kinda just quit
