I thought she would be the first GC player in T1. Many teams lack a good IGL. If you’re good enough at it, you don’t have to have top level mechanics.

Has he gotten a better mic?
I liked his watchpartys but I could never get over how bad his audio would sound. I get that some people like that, but it wasn't for me.
Demon1 (twice)
Thought he would be shit replacing Bcj who I thought was the best init in NA at the time. Demon1 then won champs.
Thought he would then be a goat contender, and boy was I wrong.
What threats?
I didn’t see anything about that. It entirely changes the scenario if so.
Suing someone over that is a little much, but I’m pretty sure Aspas was with his wife when he was on Loud. I don’t think that has anything to do with his slump.
He just can’t or won’t play yoru, and is stuck in a yoru meta.
Context? I saw a tweet but I had no clue what it was about.
He’s been on the same team for ~3 years now.
Gotta be some reason he’s not made tier 1 or gone to a better team atp
I play more CS than Val nowadays, but I’ve never agreed with the sentiment that CS had better movement than Val.
Unless you’re playing on a bhop or surf server, the movement always felt clanky to me. I can’t quite describe it, but movement in Val feels natural compared to every other game, while movement in CS feels different.
Is it the gold and green eagle one?
If so it's pretty fire.
He’s a great player.
I just personally don’t like when people use age as an excuse for bad conduct. If you’ve truly grown as a person you should be able to realize why it’s bad and that should be how you apologize.
Though, I don’t really care about what he did and think only being a criminal should bar you from competing. I just think that type of mindset is harmful and doesn’t let you actually take accountability and grow.
He looked really insane, like unbelievably good in T2. Had a few game stint on Fnatic where he looked average to slightly above average.
Clearly has the potential, but not sure if the mental is all there yet.
For playoffs yes. I don’t like group stages though.
Swiss>>>>
Tbh, I don’t like double elim too much. Hard to balance it in a way that makes it fair for the upper bracket, but not too harsh on the lower bracket. I also find the whole upper bracket final is the same as grand finals to be a little disappointing.
I prefer worlds or CS majors style of single elim. Makes the grand finals matchup more interesting and gives underdogs more of a chance.
It’s a mystery how JoxJo isn’t on either of these teams. He’s been the only decent IGL in JP. They always just look like they have no clue what they’re doing and are just going with the flow.
I kinda liked the BO1's but I wish they weren't as punishing for losing them.
The way CS Majors work with a swiss stage where the 0:0, 1:0, and 0:1 games are Bo1 (I think), works best IMO.
I don't really care to watch a Bo3 of a title contender v.s. a #4 minor region team.
I’d give it a 6/10. I think it went pretty well, but it needs better production/talent if it’s going to stay imo. Some of it was just not there yet.
The second I see someone put an asterisk in something like EWC, I cannot take whatever they then say seriously.
Congrats, or sorry that happened to you. I’ll wait for PltCht to talk about it.
Best part for me is that there are simultaneously games happening.
I think it works, and think it’s a viable strategy for increasing the number of teams at masters events.
If you get burned out playing a 5 day tournament you likely don’t have the mental to be a top player.
We’ve seen teams get massive success playing as many events as possible.
I wouldn’t be surprised if streaming every day caused more burnout then an extra lan.
Congrats! I wasn’t really able to tell the difference it made for my schedule when I was in university, but it’s still impressive to succeed after putting in the effort.
Stew really should go to Korea, he’s way undervalued. I know he speaks a little Chinese, but I think a lot of his shakiness this season has been due in part to the language barrier.
He could do really well on a KR T2 team.
It was known as probably the most defensive sided map in the game, with only ascent coming close.
Now I feel more and more that the offensive side seems as strong if not stronger in recent history.
I haven't played the game for over a year now, so I don't know what changed to make such a drastic difference. Any ball knowers?
Gambling built into CS:GO = infinitely more money for sponsoring events.
Although, I’m pretty sure valve announced that they won’t be doing open qualifying for the next major (essentially moving to the val model), so I don’t know how well that’s really working out for CS right now.
Is it true they have the most funding?
That would make all the tech issues really embarrassing if true
I don’t see anyway EG gets dropped. They were champions in 2023, had a rough year in 2024 (to say the least), change of management and rebounded this year to be a current top 4 team in Americas.
The accuser provided a timeline of events, and claims that can be proven/disproven. Flor has stated that it didnt happen, she has evidence that it didnt happen, but doesn’t want to share it for”safety reasons”.
This doesn’t mean that what the accuser has said are facts, they’re still only allegations, but I don’t really see them as the same.
Edit: to be precise, Flor doesn’t claim sex didn’t happen, but that she has evidence that it was consensual
Security camera. GPS data says she wasn’t home at the night in question, etc…
There’s many things that could be examples. The likely case is that she has evidence that at best calls into question whether or not there was an expectation of sex when the girl came to Flor’s house. (Would be my guess at least) which, while it doesn’t necessarily preclude a finding of sexual assault, it would be pretty strong evidence
That’s generally not true.
It’s fine to share facts, things that will show up in discovery, pre-trial. Things like DMs (assuming they’re not doctored).
I generally advise not giving any testimony or recounting of events without having it vetted by an attorney. Opposing counsel with often try to twist your words, and if you’re not careful with specific wording, they might lead a jury to read something that didn’t happen into your words.
I hate when people do this “I have evidence, but I can’t share it for whatever reason” line.
If you have evidence that 100% exonerates you, you should share it. It’s not going to make any difference in future litigation anyway.
l mean, at this point the burden is on her to disprove this, or at least call it into question.
I wouldn’t fine her or put her in jail until there’s more proof, but for believing her or not, at this point I feel like she needs to convince everyone, not the other way around.
Ah. I'm not sure if environmental science was a thing when I was in high school. Tho we just called CSP APCS
what is APES & CSP? Granted I took APs ~10 years ago, but I don't remember those
