I'll go first, Rocket League and the RL trading community
RL used to have a trading/market community that was a large part of the game before epic deleted it so it didn't become CS 2.0
if epic thought it would've gotten to CS's levels where there are tens or hundreds of thousands of bots on the game, then it was a good move
be so fr T_T everyone was selling their stuff for undermin at the end of trading
apex prob, when i started val i was just playing on a laptop so i would hop between playing apex on ps4 and val on laptop
eventually i just started only playing on my laptop before getting a pc and playing val forever
CS:GO and League of Legends. Messed around with Rainbow6 for a bit as well
fortnite. idgaf that im a child. i grew up with that game
(im 17 and havent played fortnite in like 2-3 years)
same game recognizes game, it's just in terms of community i grew with rocket league
I didn't watch esports before val but after playing val for a bit I watched the esports and really enjoyed it
I went from Run 3 to Prodigy Math Game to Minecraft to FIFA Mobile to Geometry Dash to Brawlhalla to VALORANT.
csgo/league & osrs on the side even though osrs' competitive side is literally nonexistent if you exclude DMM
Overwatch was the fps I played before and still play
Geometry dash is my most played game oat 💪
fortnite, still play it and peaked top 1k. this season is literally mechs 2.0 tho so i will be back in 3 months
Minecraft, was grinding on minemen club, TapL UHC, hypixel duels etc. I was never "good" because those mfs are actually deranged, but I was good enough to fight some really good guys and hold my own before inevitably losing.
Zero prior FPS experience, have only ever played rhythm games prior to Valorant
CSGO. Tbh i like watching Esports more than playing. I started playing at 22 after I bought a PC from my own salary. Switched to valorant after clocking around 3000hrs and reaching LE. I hover around D1-D2, although I don't play much. I have like 700 hrs and I have been playing since ep1 act 1. Not to mention, I'm 30 now, with slow ass reflexes.
started playing with a mouse and keyboard in late 2020 was playing console my whole childhood on pc i played r6 cs and val on console solo games mostly like dmc or rdr2 etc and games like fortnite cod and fifa
The first time I played an fps game pc was counter strike in 2009 at an internet cafe, and continued playing point blank->cross fire->battlefield->call of duty->Pubg->rules of survival->overwatch->fornite->valorant (now I'm 21 and I rarely play PC games anymore because busy)
Valorant is the first esports where i follow it closely like i know all 30 teams rosters + coaches ( I just cannot get into china). But you can say Pubg pc and CS community
First game was siege then also got into CS a bit until like 2022 ish when i started watching val. I remember watching the zeta run and enjoying the game more.
was big into apex over lockdown with one of my friends, we'd play like hours every day. then one of us saw the valorant beta on twitch and we spent ages watching to keys to play together.
