Who would be the top 5 coaches according to their achievements in vct so far?
Also was curious just how much coaching is important? Like potter got all credit today but honestly I think players deserve equal credit for the win as well.

recency, but tbf alecks has been far more consistently at the top, and also won last seasons apac playoffs
bzka winning champs speaks more for the winning roster itself than for his coaching ability
look at his mibr performance after, complete dogshit
meanwhile alecks was the head coach of a team that made every international from franchising start until this year
champs runner up and multiple high placements at internationals across multiple metas
alecks on fraudwatch rn but he does have a much better track record than bzka
bzka got carried by his roster, its hard to say he achieved much himself as a coach

- Mini (2 trophies)
- Potter (1 trophy with underdog team)
- Kaplan, Chet, Engh, bzkA, Nbs, d00mbr0s (1 trophy each)
Any list that doesn't have Potter at first and Mini on second is a fraudulent list
well i still feel like potter has achived more in vct non trophy wise too, she should be considered the goat coach
mini has been coaching Fnatic since the time they were a group called SUMN FC in 2020. The team made the finals of the first international VCT event where they lost to Sen. It's not like mini's achievements are only the 2 trophies either. Both have non trophy achievements. The post is asking for VCT achievements.
With a fucking superteam? Yeah sure. Potter won world champs (not any mickey mouse cup) with five bums that are struggling to win now that they don't have her anymore. And she legit has a chance to do it again. Potter clears Mini. And before you say "FNC is also struggling" it's d0rke's fault. Once Alfa, Leo, Chronicle lock in, they are going to carry his noob ass again.

Yeah and winning >>>>CHAMPS<<<< with a bum-filled team is bigger achievement than winning a non-champs trophy with a superteam full of champs winners.

How is no one even mentioning Fr0d? He was assistant coach for 2022 LOUD and head coach for 2023. Guy is an FPS legend, clearly knows a lot about the game and his pauses are crazy effective. Like just this weekend MIBR was losing 0-4 to NRG, he pauses once and they win fucking 13-6 like 💀
probably because he has no chips. but i agree tho he is one of the best coaches.
