The thing is mods can keep the game interesting, so it might be worth getting. Except if I wanted to get it, I shouldn't have waited till now to buy it.

Subnautica is an amazing game if you like single-player games
Jedi: Fallen Order is amazing if you have money
Marvel Snap is fun if you wanna play something quick and free
Prison Architect is fun if you enjoy chill building games

Stardew is a bit grindy and repetitive game, not for everyone.
You can also play casually but I don't know if that would be much fun after like 5-10 hours because you would be so far behind on content

I started playing and it told me to go walk around and meet all the villagers but I couldn't find them all so I stopped playing

That might take a bit, a few of the villagers are locked behind storyline which happens like after the first week.
For the first time, i would recommend just walking around getting the feel of things in town.
Don't forget to water your parsnips!

I have my terraria phases in which i play the game for a whole week, then never touch it again for months.
Last time I finished fargo's soul eternity, was a lot of pain and fun at the same time.

Squad if you like milsim type games
Just bought Ready or Not, but haven't tried yet. Also tried The Finals and it was pretty fun after getting used to.

Oh its really different type of game. Squad is FPS, but more realistic with time to kill, objective/teamplay, recoil etc. Kinda like Battlefield but more realistic and slow. Great game, but not for everyone.

you see i would recommend you TF2 since that's been the most fun game i've ever played but that was like a decade ago and now the game has been infested with bots in the official servers, regards, racists that are regards, occasional furry and/or gay porn, unbelievably cringe inside humor, mic spammers that are either 50 year old overweight men who never stop talking about american politics or actual grade school children shouting slurs, etc etc etc etc etc.

I can’t recommend Xbox game pass enough.

I don’t even have an Xbox, but the amount of games you get is obscene and you frequently get 50-60 dollar games the day they come out (starfield).

I don’t think people realize it’s for computer too.

9.99 a month for hundreds of AAA games
