I agree with you to some capacity, you can still see oce players perform in regions outside of their own and still do well
but with jp players, you dont really see them go outside of kr or jp,
True but Japan still got second in ascension(even though it was carried by Russians) And have a t1 team that made champs, OCE has great players but not really any one great team
yeah cause its really hard for oce to get good opportunities internationally unless they get imported. which is why oce kinda has its own small league.

If we're going based on depth as of now, which is how we should be going, it's: Americas >> EMEA > Pacific > CN (Pacific is close to catching EMEA tbh though)
emea over all has more talent just not as much structure compared to americas
I was judging depth based on teams not on players, because judging the overall talent of an entire region is extremely difficult. However, you can look at the results of teams in a given region, and specifically the players on those teams to help determine the depth of a region based on how many competitive teams it can produce.
emea js needs another year or 2 cause franchising broke apart all the good teams pretty much

Americas > Pacific > EMEA > CN
PRX/LOUD/FNC > EG > DRX = CN > NA > EMEA > KR = BR > APAC > JPN = LATAM
EG are an one time exception this year by NA, the rest of the region just choked really hard and I can't see them being better in an rematch between them and the other TOP 4 teams (LOUD played against them after almost 3 days of non-stop series, Champions was the first international LAN from that PRX full squad and FNC was probably the strongest team to have some chance, but got knocked out before)
DRX and China had similar results this year
Chinese teams are better than the rest of the NA teams
NA teams are more competitive than EMEA teams
KR teams just doesn't exist besides DRX, same to BR with LOUD (maybe Furia could do something, but choked)
APAC outside PRX can't do anything too
JPN and LATAM, I don't think I need to say something more than this
both latam teams CLEAR jpn and most apac teams, even br (furia and mibr)

Pacific < EMEA < Americas (need to see more of China in the VCT before I make a judgement on them)
Teams in both Pacific and EMEA are cooking with their rosters at the moment, there is a lot of competition growing the middle of the table in both regions. Meanwhile in America, maybe aside from LEV, nothing really excites me. I would have put more faith in G2 but they have slightly disappointed in their friendlies so far (not ridiculously but imo they should have been the team to win the Sen Invitational on paper), hopefully though they can find their groove quickly because I want them to do well.
This is very difficult. But I think it looks something like this:
EMEA > Americas > Pacific >= China
People are sleeping on CN imo, and EMEA is still objectively speaking the best region. Heck, they've got FNC and countless amazing talents. NA teams are overrated and imo LEV is the only remaining savior of Americas. Sentinels and C9 just don't look that good.
