Ethan joined 100 Thieves last February and hit the ground running, giving his team the additional firepower needed to solidify themselves as a top-three roster in North America. The upgraded roster made frequent deep runs in VCT events, but their most notable performance was a top-four finish in the playoffs of Masters: Berlin.

But their performance spiraled downwards from there, as 100 Thieves found little success for the remainder of their VCT 2021 and beginning of 2022. After only securing a single win in the group stage of NA Challengers 1, 100 Thieves made drastic changes to their players and management, leaving Ethan's future up in the air.

NRG achieved a similar amount of success in their most recent VCT showing, qualifying for the group stage after a shaky run through the first open qualifier as they attempted to make playoffs. Unfortunately, the team was also only able to win a single match in Group B against Rise Rise Inactive , losing the other four and crushing any hopes of advancement.

Ethan's role on NRG is unclear, as the talent played an initiator-sentinel flex for 100 Thieves during the group stage while ANDROID fielded a controller-sentinel role. However, he is no stranger to providing smokes for his team, a role he briefly held on 100 Thieves.

With a new, polished roster, NRG prepare for the next stage of the VCT, set to take place a week from now on April 28. The team looks to one-up their previous performance in main events with the newest addition to their roster.
