Rough for The Guard, first loss on the international stage here, there's inexperience on LAN, then there's just going up an absolute powerhouse of a team, I hope I'm not overrating DRX...

Optic barely won against 1 KR Jett, no way they can handle 5 KR players. DRX can easily out-aim + out-strat them

fan of both teams so really don't mind who ends up winning. so hard to predict optic matches because if yay just has one of those demon mode games like on icebox, no team in the world is beating them. but if he's just playing to his regular level, DRX will come out on top imo.
it is relevant to note that envy/optic have historically found drx to be an easy opponent (their words from scrimbucks) but we'll see whether that's just talk or not
OpTic 2-1 DRX. My hopium is high but not THAT high. Only KoreanOverlord has that.
This is a case where I think looking at what DRX can do against OpTic rather than what OpTic can do against DRX as we already know what OpTic is capable of. DRX has looked dominant with the slight outlier of Paper Rex even then Map 2 & 3 against PRX showed that DRX is able to out-strat a strong aiming team such as Paper Rex so DRX making a strat to shut down yay isn’t out of the realm of possibility. So my prediction would be DRX 2:1 OpTic with DRX choosing Split, OpTic opting for Bind and Ascend left over. DRX is strong on Haven but we can’t forget that OpTic is also showing exemplary control on the map on Attack so it will be a gamble for both teams to choose Haven.

I checked every stax interview in this masters and I do not see any statement by stax about Optic or even remotely close about practices with other international teams.
After watching today's match, we have:
Optic barely won against the Guard (also notorious for farming NA teams on LAN)
DRX barely won PRX
PRX swept through the Guard
In conclusion, DRX will sweep through Optic easily. Freest 1.60 odd ever

DRX aren't gonna pick Haven because Haven is a good map for OpTic too imo they probably do better on Split

Optic(yay) cant ego peek drx because DRX respecting every team they fight. They always maximize utilities to win the round. They will play post-plants everytime they planted the bomb, They trust each other and their chemistry as a team is God Tier level. Its a 2-0 for me in favor of DRX my map guess is Haven(Optic and DRX pick for sure), Bind/Ascent (Optic has a chance on both on these maps thas why I think they might pick it) decider map is Icebox for me since Optic perma ban is Breeze so theres a chance to go 3rd map. But DRX still win this series

i think its going to be DRX 2x0, they're showing us the best tr side of this whole master, maybe NV can make some rounds and the maps became closer, but i still be with 2x0
