I love chamber , i hated jett , jett has a get out of jail for free card 24/7 whereas chamber has to be thoughtful while using it , also jett had like 3 smokes which were fucking ridiculous ,killing a jett was so much harder back then , if the opponent picks chamber they know their flanks will be weak for the cost of a good op, whereas jett was good on attack and defence and had good awping rifling and good eco due to ulti , very hard to kill etc

I feel like there's only like 10 people on this site who even support optic , the conversation always revolves around c9,SEN,TSM,100t but no love for optic it seems , idk why this is but its been from the start , optic is just not very popular as a team even though they have the best results in NA

Tenz is the best player mechanically to ever touch the game but the thing is , if mechanics were everything , people wouldn't need igls like FNS saadhak , bonecold etc , mechanics can only get you so far , you need a good IGL and supportive teammates to tell you how to go about playing rounds and what strats to use , if you cant use them , your mechanics wont help you either

They have never fallen below top 4 after getting there iguess after first strike , they have always been a top 4 team and i cant think of any team in NA that has done that ever

Like most indian curries have similar ingredients like onions , tomatoes and similar spices but they all end up tasting so different , like a lot of the curries have like 2-3 differences but they'll taste sooo different , how does this sorcery work .

In my last post i mentioned how every team that has beaten optic/envy had to make roster changes/straight up fell out of the teir 1 scene or like disbanded
Only exceptions to this curse were Xset and C9 and now c9 officially has lost xeta and their coach 24 hours after i made the original post about the curse

Every single team that has beaten Optic/Envy , either falls apart or has to make roster changes or their performance degrades radically

Examples

SEN (performance dropped radically)

TSM (well do i have to say anything here)

100t (fell apart and had to build a roster from the beginning)

Rise ( do i even have to explain?)

Acend(Roster fell apart and had to make multiple roster changes)

X10crit ( literally all the players left for xerxia)

And now gambit and guard ,

both have had poor performances and the Pujan "FNS" Mehta's mega curse might have a hand in this and if history tells me anything.... Im scared for both of these teams as i love both of them

Only optic fans know the pain of watching ecos when optic plays

Optic make sure yay can frag , they'll support him , make sure he stays alive , he gets out of sticky situations , you'll very rarely see yay fighting alone , there will always be someone holding a cross for him which allows him to isolate angles

Entire optic squad tbh , they stream very little and never do interviews/content and the org doesnt bother either

People on VLR have forgot that Zombs was THE BEST astra player for a long time and its his astra that made a significant difference against Fnatic in the finals of iceland. He was waaay ahead of the curve back then , he picked up the viper too , he is ready to play literally any controller and ofen that too with a spectre to buy guns for his team (because his team has some members who'll force buy repeatedly and then when zombs has a buy ask him for rifles/OPs ) , also on defence he is basically always forced to hold sites on his own , ive seen hi getting support verry few times , on astra he could solo stop a push but now he just cannot because he doesnt have that kind of util on viper( pros sometimes just push the molly if theres only one player on site )
Look at FNS for example , mechanically he is not very good, but he can provide value to the team by making sure all of the other players get sufficient support and survive for the longest amount of time , in SEN everyone wants to play for the clip , the stylepoints , now they removed the only player who played a passive supportive role , i can garuntee it wont end well for them

If ive learnt anything from watching Gambit , OpTic and FPX , is that roster changes wont suddenly create a mirculous team , even the team with best players need time to build chemistry , that is why all the top teams rn are ones which tend to make minimal roster changes or make changes gradually over a very long time

Tenz Mechanically is one of the best players out there among yay , cNed , aspas etc
But lets compare the teams they play in and what roles they occupy , lets consider OpTic

in an interview with thorin chet said that " Jake (yay) knows he's very good mechanically and he wants to hit every shot he takes , after playing for a while now he is much more willing to ask support which allows him to frag out more and also communicates with the team which allow him to take more advantageous fights" , whereas tenz is always left alone i feel like , on defence half is team is already dead by the time he rotates and no matter how good you are , you cannot kill everyone when they have a good crossfire setup

If you put tenz on OpTic he'll perform just as good as yay i feel like , if you put literally anyone in SEN right now , they are bound to fail , because player skill has never been a question for Sentinels , their team play and util usage is just hot garbage as compared to other teams right now. No longer is the case today where you can outaim everyone , you need set strats for winning

Tbh saying optic got worse after their berlin run is wrong , as we all know that victor had serious health issues and the team couldn't play upto the mark, also did they really get worse under chet? Like winning masters and Challengers final was close tbh , it could have gone either way , it FNS and crashies played that final round together
