I think this map pool favors EDG. NRG's best maps are Lotus and Corrode (which EDG is 4-1 on). Their Haven is okay, Bind/Sunset is shaky, Ascent is relatively untested, and Abyss was not good the one time they played it this year.
EDG on the other hand have only two bad-ish maps, Lotus and Sunset, the latter of which NRG is quite bad at. Nonetheless I think they'd rather play Sunset than Bind given EDG have been decent on it (they even beat BLG). Their Abyss is undefeated on a small sample size this year but obviously last year they played extremely well on it and I'd expect them to be one of the better Abyss teams in champs. Ascent is okay and Corrode is really good.
If I were NRG I'd ban Haven given that EDG has showed dominance on it this year and theirs hasn't been the best. EDG 100% bans Lotus given it's one of NRG's strongest maps.
Then NRG is in a tough spot. I really think they have to pick Corrode, their only other good map, and try to play into EDG. Then EDG would probably pick Abyss.

I’d say it’s a mix of both. Sensitivity changes don’t really matter too much at the pro level since that’s more about preference. The bigger reason is probably burnout and frustration from all the roster instability — with Jieni and hfmi constantly switching, the s1mon drama, etc. That kind of inconsistency can really affect performance. But honestly, I don’t think EDG will have those issues going forward. Jieni is a solid duelist and should bring more stability to the team. I also forgot to mention Chichoo being a igl w nobody its just alot of changes recently edg just needs to get used to it

Quikz [#98]I’d say it’s a mix of both. Sensitivity changes don’t really matter too much at the pro level since that’s more about preference. The bigger reason is probably burnout and frustration from all the roster instability — with Jieni and hfmi constantly switching, the s1mon drama, etc. That kind of inconsistency can really affect performance. But honestly, I don’t think EDG will have those issues going forward. Jieni is a solid duelist and should bring more stability to the team. I also forgot to mention Chichoo being a igl w nobody its just alot of changes recently edg just needs to get used to it
