I don’t think it makes sense for EDG to make roster changes, only a coaching change

posted 10 minutes ago

Obviously CN underperformed heavy at Champs, but I think a lot of it felt pretty understandable.
XLG: didn’t look great in stage 2, so they came into Champs as the 4th seed. Considering their expectations, they played overall pretty decently.
EDG: They made a roster change in the middle of stage 2, and it seems they just didn’t have enough time to figure out their comps. A little dissapointing, but they also lost 3 maps by a total of 6 rounds. I don’t see any reason to change the roster.
DRG: They also had a couple of extremely close maps, but unfortunately fell short. Considering that they had a sub, I think they showed a lot of promise too. They’ll be fine.
BLG: This is the one team that was very disappointing. They played so much less confident and way more passive at Champs compared to stage 2. Whzy just looked like he had no confidence. Losing in groups isn’t the end of the world, but they heavily underperformed compared to how well they played regionally.

Give em hell!

Yeah he had a rough day at the worst time, it happens

posted 3 hours ago

They had some shaky performances in EMEA too, they just didn’t get punished for it

posted 3 hours ago

They looked incredibly good today, hopefully they can build upon it

posted 3 hours ago

TL had been getting away with sloppy play and some disgusting maps, nice to see it finally get punished

Go outside

Who cares, people keep yapping about this player every day even tho they are irrelevant. Just people trying to be funny

posted 15 hours ago

Yeah he’s gotta be feeling better, and I didn’t know he talked with Chronicle

posted 18 hours ago

Me too. I think it’ll come down to Rarga’s form. When he’s feeling it he can completely take over games, which we saw glimpses of against Sen. also Happywei can go nuts too

Wow you are a genius

demon1 doesn’t increase their ceiling

People use other util like omen paranoia or just entry into site at the same time, so it’s hard to break. Also, it being broken is still info

Why sign him? It’d probably be better to try and find fresh new talents instead

posted 19 hours ago

Probably FNC over NRG

posted 19 hours ago

N4rrate has been a problem too

I feel like the players individually are talented but they don't make each other better. They oftentimes don't seem to be on the same page, utility timing is off, and they don't seem to have clear objectives as a team each round. Given how long this roster has been together, it might just be that they just aren't a cohesive group of players, and no amount of experience will change that. Sometimes players just don't fit well together, and that's okay.

Idk if I'd say MIBR should beat RRQ, I think if Jemkin is has awoken now then MIBR is in big trouble

The first lotus clutch was not 50/50, time was very low, that's like an 80/20. The second one was also definitely better than a 50/50.

People just blindly use vlr rating to talk about how well someone played. Demon1 was okay. He gave a valiant effort despite the circumstances, but also lost several key clutches that he probably should have won.

XLG and DRG going from Ascension to making Champs is a great sign for the region, that’s for sure. I also wouldn’t be too harsh on EDG, they’ve dealt with roster issues the entire year and still lost in Champs by the slimmest of margins. Even if this Champs performance is bad overall for CN, there’s so much to be optimistic about

It’s incredible how much of a difference having Vookashu might have had

reactionary vlr at its best

KK was mvp in 2024 champs because although Chichoo was arguably better during most of the tournament it was pretty close. Then KK put up the greatest GF performance ever, so it pushed him above Chichoo.

In Toronto, f0rsaken was better the entire tournament and in GF imo, stats don’t tell the full story. The eye test says that f0rsaken was having crazy impact

It’s 7-7…

0/8

His fault but also a bit unlucky

posted 1 day ago

GenG and Talon only have themselves to blame

posted 1 day ago

RRQ was playing way better domestically

posted 1 day ago

BLG is playing quite well

posted 1 day ago

I don’t, they would have choked at least 2 maps by now

posted 1 day ago

Was their fault

posted 1 day ago

Yes, until someone else can win a tournament

posted 1 day ago

Didn’t they beat DRX in stage 2 playoffs?

posted 1 day ago

More like “failure to thrive”

posted 1 day ago

I don’t get why RRQ gets any hate, they aren’t annoying players and their fans aren’t toxic

“Only know how to abuse broken agents” dude if an agent is really good in the meta than yes, people should play them. Anyone can play the agent, so it’s not like there’s an unfair opportunity.

Based on popularity and success you could argue Yoru is broken, so committing to learning Yoru would be trying to abuse a broken agent too. Your logic makes 0 sense

nah loyalty is gracefully accepting defeat and looking to future

I mean if he misses, which is likely because it is blind, then it essentially guarantees NoMan wins the 1v1 when he swings

IT IS ATTACK SIDED COMP

posted 2 days ago

leaf apparently never loses an aim duel

posted 2 days ago

It is an attack-sided comp, its weird

posted 2 days ago

not a ball knower

posted 2 days ago

It literally is attack sided, go rewatch every game this comp is used. It always performs way better on attack than defense.

posted 2 days ago

Mature take

posted 2 days ago

XLG's comp is attack-sided, it's weird but thats how it works

posted 2 days ago

Bro, XLG's comp is attack sided. It sounds weird but it is.
